The Establishment Strikes Back
The idea that the US government identified twelve culprits who were responsible for trying to overthrow American democracy is by any measure ludicrous, if indeed there was a major plan to disrupt the election at all.

Why is Europe full of hate for Donald Trump? Is it, perhaps, because millions could soon die in yet another of the senseless and horrible wars unleashed by the Western empire? Or is it because Europeans suddenly ‘saw the light’ and realized that they mistreated billions of innocent people throughout history; that actually all people on Earth are equal and[Read More...]
An Israeli sniper deliberately targeted Palestinian medic Razan al-Najjar, an investigation by the human rights group B’Tselem has found. Al-Najjar, 21, was killed on 1 June, as she and her colleagues treated Palestinians taking part in Great March of Return protests in Gaza, near the boundary fence with Israel, east of Khan Younis. According to B’Tselem, al-Najjar “was fatally shot by a member of the security forces[Read More...]

Why is Europe full of hate for Donald Trump?
Is it, perhaps, because millions could soon die in yet another of the senseless and horrible wars unleashed by the Western empire? Or is it because Europeans suddenly ‘saw the light’ and realized that they mistreated billions of innocent people throughout history; that actually all people on Earth are equal and should be left alone and be allowed to live their lives as they please?
Far from that; unfortunately, very far!
A police watchdog group reported that police officers in London often failed to record crimes, including domestic abuse and violence when they occurred alongside other crimes. Almost one in ten sexual offense crimes, including rape, were not recorded. They also neglected to record some low-level crimes. More than half of people in the UK have lost confidence in the police. Meanwhile, hate crimes are rigorously investigated, and a George Soros-linked NGO is working with police to fund enforcement for hate crime laws.
MGM is claiming that a 2002 federal law extends liability protection to any company that uses 'anti-terrorism' technology or services that can prevent and respond to mass violence, and MGM hired security for the concert that was certified by the Department of Homeland Security. A victims' attorney says that only the security company is protected from liability under the federal law and MGM is still on the hook for liability. [...]
(ZHE) — On Tuesday an Israeli television channel aired leaked video footage it obtained exclusively showing Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu boasting that he had personally convinced President Trump to abandon the Iran nuclear deal. The statements were made at a small dinner event where he addressed senior members of his Likud party. The video, aired by Israel’s Kan News shows Netanyahu enthusiastically […]
(ANTIWAR.COM) — In a Tuesday night interview, President Trump once again stirred up fury among NATO nations, this time by questioning the wisdom of the alliance’s collective defense terms. He warned this was potentially risky because any small NATO member could quickly escalate the entire alliance into a world war. Trump provided NATO’s newest member, tiny Montenegro, as an […]

The utter malevolence of our political class was dramatized in all its darkness by their reaction to the Helsinki summit: the “Treason summit” they dubbed it, with the Twitter hashtag going viral. In a bid to preserve free trade and strengthen their trade partnership, the European Union and Japan have finished a free trade zone agreement that has been sitting in the pipeline for years.
The present global economic outlook provided the needed spur to action to get the ball rolling again and now it has finally reached the end zone and scored another point for free and open trade against the growing influence of protectionism, which has been creeping up with alarming rapidity and far reaching consequences in recent months.
One potentially positive outcome from Monday’s Trump-Putin Summit in Helsinki, Finland was a clear signal that both leaders have talked about cooperating in Syria, rather than treating each other as geopolitical adversaries at the expense of Syria’s own welfare.
Traitor by Chip ProserShould I keep this time slot as a treason space? Like I said, yesterday, this story sure isn't just the regular one news cycle Trump circus. As the New York Times reported yesterday, "While the T-word has been thrown around on the fringes of the political debate about other presidents or politicians from time to time, never in the modern era has it become part of the national conversation in such a prominent way.
As expected, the US mainstream and Guardian oriented UK liberal media have descended into a spiral of hysteria and righteous indignation following Monday’s Trump-Putin Summit in Helsinki, Finland. In Washington, Trump has received criticism from both sides of the aisle, Democrats and Neocons alike, because he didn’t condemn Moscow for alleged “meddling” which the mainstream media and Democratic Party machine insisted happened during the 2016 election.

Does it seem a bit surprising that just as the US intelligence agencies – including the FBI – seemed to be on the ropes over their role in the 2016 presidential campaign, 12 indictments were dropped on Russian intelligence agents and a Trump-Putin meeting was decried as an act of treason by Obama intelligence appointees?
