Updated! "Airstrike"on the UN Humanitarian Convoy in Syria- Not Bloody Likely!

Alleged? Yup! I can't even conclude this actually happened. So, there is my first question: Did this attack take place at all? The US immediately and I mean immediately began spinning 'airstrikes' by either Syrian or Russian airforces- The US gov is a fabulously, notorious liar!US ‘outraged’ after air strike hits aid convoy in Syria

"Syrian or Russian aircraft struck an aid convoy killing 12 people, according to a the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights"

Secondly, when reading this news yesterday I was struck by the claim that it was either Syrian or Russian aircraft?  Well, which was it? Third issue.....The report came from SOHR. SOHR is not the most reliable source. Their information would only ever be used here at the blog, and has been used,  if the claims SOHR is making or putting forward lines up with multiple other sources. In the case of the  airstrike- The claims are not lining up!!!Naming Perpetrator of Attack on Aleppo Aid Convoy Premature - UN

The United Nations notified Russia and the United States of the attack on a humanitarian aid convoy in Syria, and expects an investigation, a spokesman of the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) said Tuesday, naming the perpetrator of the attack was premature.

Gosh, if it was Russia or Syrian airstrikes why would the UN contact the US and not name the perpetrator? The next paragraph should make it a bit clearer

On Monday, the OCHA said that the aid convoy crossed the conflict line in the Big Orem area of the Syrian city of Aleppo. Later in the day, UN officials stated that the convoy had been shelled and there were casualties.

The convoy was shelled.

"They are fully aware of what has happened… We are still trying to establish exactly what happened. Both sides have influence on those who have access to these kinds of weapons so we are giving that information to them"

Possibly by US backed rebels which excludes an airstrike (unless US planes/drones were involved) - hence the notification of the US by the UN - It really does appear, if anything at all occurred, it was not via airstrikes.

According to Laerke, both the Damascus forces and the opposition groups were aware of the fact that the convoy would attempt to deliver aid, and had given permission for it to do so.

Both forces were aware of the delivery... so who would have shelled the convoy?IFRC Says Unaware of Who Attacked Aid Convoy:

On Monday, the United Nations’ Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) said that the aid convoy crossed the conflict line in the Big Orem area of the Syrian city of Aleppo. Later in the day, UN officials stated that the convoy had been shelled and there were casualties."We do not know exactly whom that attack came from. It is not possible for us to know so quickly after the event what the source of the attack was or who was directly involve but what we do know whenever the convoy moves all relevant Military authorities are informed after movement together with the exact plan of what is going to happen," the official said.

As of right now it's doubtful there were any airstrikes.I'm not even sure there were casualties! Notice who is validating claims of casualtiesOh look two props in one image- White Helmet/Tshirt (branding) & UN Logo!Wonder what is written/printed below the UN Logo (more branding) Fox News

Rami Abdurrahman of the Britain-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, which tracks the civil war, and Aleppo-based activist Bahaa al-Halaby both said the attack killed 12 people.

SOHR claims airstrikes and casualties

Among the victims was Omar Barakat who headed the Red Crescent in the town where the attack occurred, they said. The Syrian Civil Defense, the volunteer first responder group also known as the White Helmets, confirmed that casualty figure. The convoy, part of a routine interagency dispatch operated by the Syrian Red Crescent, was hit in rural western Aleppo province. The White Helmets first responder group posted images of a number of vehicles on fire and a video of the attack showed huge balls of fire in a pitch black area, as ambulances arrive on the scene.

And the White Helmets post images/videos on line and validate casualty claims:  Pardon me for not buying this psyop as presented with airstrikes, fireballs and mass casualties.

This whole scenario positively reeks of a US backed rebel attack on the convoy. With a propaganda campaign at ready to promote a bogus narrative. To blame frame Russia and or Syria and obfuscate/hide the intentional US/NATO hit/ killing of 80 plus SAA in an egregious criminal act!

UN backtracks on claims its aid convoy in Syria was bombed

The United Nations has reversed allegations that its aid convoy in Syria, which was attacked on Monday, was the target of an airstrike. "We are not in a position to determine whether these were in fact airstrikes. We are in a position to say that the convoy was attacked," UN humanitarian spokesman Jens Laerke said. The UN spoke of a draft error while referring to the initial term of ‘airstrike.’ On Monday, 20 civilians and one aid worker were killed in what humanitarian organizations believed was an airstrike hitting a convoy en route to the war-torn city of Aleppo. In plain talk the UN was more then happy to kick of a perception managing/ disinfo campaign, they are now backing away from. The Useless Nations- toss it to the curb!
