NATO Responds to Russian Attempts to Maintain Syrian Territorial Integrity

In light of the NATO shoot down of the Russian fighter jet, via NATO occupied Turkey,  I'm re-linking the post from November 4/2015 that asked the question- What if Russia attacked Syria's Kurds on behalf of Assad?: RudawThat question has been answered for us all! NATO will shoot down Russian planes operating in Syrian territory as requested by the Syrian government  in order to support their Kurdish terrorists as they (NATO/ISRAEL/Kurds) create the terror state of Kurdistan aka Greater Israel.Especially relevant when one considers the FACT that it was an F-15 that entered Syrian territory to shoot down the Russian jet. Yes, I said Syrian territory- Not NATO's attempt at annexing Syrian territory for Kurdistan- I'm talking Syrian territory! Flashback to November 4/2015  post:

 Interesting and provocative read!
btw: we aren't talking "Syria's Kurds" the militias are chock full of PKK aka Turkey's KurdsAtlantic Council- The Kurds and the future of Assad
PKK fighters returned to Syria during the civil war. Jordi Tejel, an expert on Syrian Kurds says, “already in April 2011 the PKK sent one thousand armed fighters to establish the YPG in Syria.

The PYD’s militia, the People’s Protection Units (YPG), created by former PKK fighters....

Rudaw piece authored by: Paul Davis is a retired US Army military intelligence analyst and a consultant to the American intelligence community specializing in the Middle East with a concentration on Kurdish affairs. Currently he is the President of the consulting firm JANUS Think in Washington D.C.Ties nicely in with this news: US Moves f-15's to Syria

F-15Cs are armed with only air-to-air weaponry, making the plane unnecessary in operations against ISIS, which doesn't have a functioning air element. Instead, the jets could have one of two purposes in the region — they could either be used to help protect Turkey's border against periodic incursions by Syrian jets and helicopters.Or, under certain circumstances, the F-15Cs could be used to help counter Russian activity over Syria. A hypothetical no-fly zone over northern Syria near the Turkish border, for instance, would have to be maintained using planes that could enforce the zone against both Russian and Syrian aircraft.

In plain talk the F-15's may be used to protect the NATO created, "greater Israel" expansion/ally, inevitable terror state - Kurdistan.

Protecting the NATO created 'greater Israel/Kurdistan was at play when one considers where the Russian jet was shot down. As mentioned in the earlier post:

Putin Warns After NATO Occupied Turkey Shot Down Russian Fighter Jet

Obama- the Peace President is a-ok with NATO occupied Turkey shooting down the jet- That's cause it was a NATO operation! And of course he is lying about the 'defensive' aspect. It was not defense of Turkey's territory or airspace.  NATO acted offensively to protect their Kurdish and other Jihadi's as they steal Syrian territory.

Obama: Turkey Has Right to Defend Its Territory, Airspace

"Russian military aircraft are targeting moderate Syrian opposition groups very close to Turkey's borders"

NATO 's Kurds. In Syria.

NATO held an emergency meeting Tuesday to discuss the incident.

Not surprising.

The military spokesman also said that a Russian marine was killed when an Mi-8 helicopter sent to rescue the downed pilots came under fire from rebel-controlled territory.

US President Barack Obama and French President Francois Hollande pressed Russia on Tuesday to focus its attacks in Syria on Islamic State militantsLeave our Kurdish jihadis alone as they steal Syrian territory for the benefit of Israel. Please.

"Obama said the United States did not have enough information yet to form conclusions about the incident, but added similar confrontations could be avoided if Russia stopped attacking "moderate" Syrian rebels"

There are no moderates!  I'd say one heck of a conclusion was already taken. A plane was downed. Dead persons. And pushing the war agenda to the edge. Obama threatens...

If Russia directs its energies toward Islamic State forces, "some of those conflicts or potentials for mistakes or escalation are less likely to occur," Obama said.

Obama said: "Turkey, like every country, has a right to defend its territory and its air space," adding he expected to speak to Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan in coming days.

What?! Obama has not even talked with Erdogan, the President of Turkey? But, will get to it in 'coming days'?- Guess he's too busy plotting with Hollande? Seems weird.Where is Erdogan? Odd that Erdogan isn't doing much talking about this incident?  Where is Erdogan? All over the news it's Obama and Hollande.  And NATO backing Turkey. But where is Erdogan? I can't find any statements from Erdogan. Oh wait a minute, I've found Erdogan's first statement regarding this incident-DS

Speaking at the annual "Teacher's Day" reception held at the Presidential Palace in Ankara on Tuesday

""The reason that worse incidents have not taken place in the past regarding Syria is the cool-headedness of Turkey. Nobody should be in doubt that we made our best efforts to avoid the latest incident. Everyone must respect the right of Turkey to protect its borders," Erdoğan said in his first official reaction to the downing of the war plane.

"We downed 1 of 2 warplanes of unknown nationality that violated our airspace upon 10 warnings" he added.

At the 'Teachers Day" reception? Of unknown nationality? What? That seems a rather vague statement from Erdogan. When compared to Obama and Hollande's talk?Hurriyet:

“Despite all warnings, a fighter jet of unknown identity was interfered within the rules of engagement. The jet unfortunately insisted on its violation despite it had been warned ten times and our F-16’s downed one of the jets as a result of the intervention,” Erdoğan said.

Erdogan's not talking tough. Not like Obama is. Why? If he was hunky dory with this shootdown.Obama hasn't spoken to Erdogan? But will in coming days? Something ain't right! Russia deploys missile cruiser off Syria coast, ordered to destroy any target posing danger

Moscow plans to suspend military cooperation with Ankara after the downing of a Russian bomber by Turkish air forces, Russian General Staff representatives said on Tuesday. Further measures to beef up Russian air base security in Syria will also be taken. Three steps as announced by top brass:
  1. Each and every strike groups’ operation is to be carried out under the guise of fighter jets
  2. Air defense to be boosted with the deployment of Moskva guided missile cruiser off Latakia coast with an aim to destroy any target that may pose danger
  3. Military contacts with Turkey to be suspended

Sergey Rudskoy, a top official with the Russian General Staff, condemned the attack on the Russian bomber in Syrian airspace by a Turkish fighter jet as “a severe violation of international law”. He stressed that the Su-24 was downed over the Syrian territory. The crash site was four kilometers away from the Turkish border, he said.

Rudskoy said the Russian warplane did not violate Turkish airspace. Additionally, according to the Hmeymim airfield radar, it was the Turkish fighter jet that actually entered Syrian airspace as it attacked the Russian bomber. The Turkish fighter jet made no attempts to contact Russian pilots before attacking the bomber, Rudskoy added.

“We assume the strike was carried out with a close range missile with an infra-red seeker,” Rudskoy said. “The Turkish jet made no attempts to communicate or establish visual contact with our crew that our equipment would have registered. The Su-24 was hit by a missile over Syria’s territory.

Russia now plans to implement new measures aimed at strengthening the security of the country’s air base in Syria and in particular to bolster air defense.

Russian guided missile cruiser Moskva, equipped with the ‘Fort’ air defense system, similar to the S-300, will be deployed off Latakia province's coast.

"We warn that every target posing a potential threat will be destroyed,” lieutenant general Sergey Rudskoy said during the briefing.

The Moskva (‘Moscow’) missile cruise is a flagship vessel of the Russian Black Sea fleet and is one of the fleet’s two biggest ships. The cruiser was stationed in Sevastopol but left in summer 2015 after being deployed to the Mediterranean Sea where it joined Russia’s standing naval force in the Mediterranean.

Since September 30, the Moskva cruiser acts as a covering force for the Russian air forces in Syria while deployed in the eastern Mediterranean.

“All military contacts with Turkey will be suspended,” Rudskoy added.
