The Russian government, media, and public don’t know what to make of the US Treasury’s “Kremlin list.” The Treasury list contains the names of the top echelon of Russian government and business leadership. The Russians understand that the list is unfriendly and furthers Washington’s policy of worsening the relationship between the two major nuclear powers, but beyond that the list seems to be a mystery to them.

Before I get started, I want to put my cards on the table. I don't trust Republicans like Devin Nunes for a moment. He doesn't care about the civil liberties of Americans, and it's become clear to me the whole "release the memo" thing is largely a political stunt. I'm not claiming there isn't anything important in there, but rather that they don't have the best interests of the U.S. citizenry in mind.  Nevertheless, I'm very much in favor of it being released for a variety of reasons.

Tuesday, the Denver Post reported that far right extremist, xenophobe and front-runner for the Republican nomination for Colorado governor, Tom Tancredo was dropping out of the race-- after just three months-- because he can't raise any money. I’ll admit it, I have come to enjoy defending Russian President Vladimir Putin to readers. It’s the easiest job in the world, you know? Despite a court order, the Clark County Coroner refused to release the full autopsy report for Stephen Paddock, the alleged Las Vegas shooter. However, the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department's preliminary investigative report includes a description of the autopsy performed on Stephen Paddock. According to the police report, the body examined was 6'1" and had brown eyes, Stephen Paddock, however, was 6'4" with blue eyes. The FBI has removed all of Paddock's records from the hospital near his home in Mesquite, Nevada.
