Before Z Nation stepped up its game and started concentrating on character development, it was pretty silly. In one ancient episode, they're traveling through South Dakota on the way to California and they come upon a pharmaceutical storage facility. The zombies have somehow-- makes no sense-- discovered the joys of meth (and other drugs) and are not just behaving like brain-eating zombies but also like annoying speed freaks.Even visit Jus' Chillin' in Billings, Montana? It used to be the smoothie shop run by right-wing nut Mike Lange.

One of the key signs of a healthy democracy is the extent to which state and corporate media encourage genuine diversity of opinions and the ability for alternative narratives to flourish. On both counts, the mass Western media failed in relation to their coverage of the Syrian conflict. The inability to report objectively on Syria is indicative of a structural and systematic bias that permeates […]

According to a recent NBC News poll, two-thirds of Americans are worried about a major war breaking out, and while among all respondents Russia is considered a foe, young people by a near three-fourth’s majority do not believe Russia to be a foe. The propaganda of the mainstream media has less of an effect on younger Americans, who have tuned out network news. What does this mean for the pro-peace movement? It’s good news, as we discuss in the Ron Paul Liberty Report:

Today, shortly after the Russian aircraft carrier Admiral Kuznetsov’s return to base, and on the occasion of Defender of the Fatherland Day (the day that Russian commemorates its armed forces) President Putin met in the Kremlin with some of the officers of the Admiral Kuznetsov and of the naval ships which accompanied her in her mission off the Syrian coast.
Most of the media has singled out for attention President Putin’s claim the decision to send the Admiral Kuznetsov to join the fight in Syria originated with him.

Today, the same day that ISIS surrendered Al-Bab to the Turkish army, ISIS abandoned Mosul airport to the Iraqi army.
This is the first important point recaptured by the Iraqi army since the offensive to liberate western Mosul from ISIS was launched on Sunday.

President Donald Trump’s naïve (or willfully blind) notion that Wall Street will work better at raising capital if it is unleashed from strident Federal regulation is unhinged from the facts on the ground. Those facts, as illustrated above, are that the Boards of two of the largest banks in the U.S. are utterly spineless when it comes to holding their CEOs and employees accountable in the face of a tsunami of crimes.
Despite the controversies of demonetization, the central government has again succeeded in deftly hijacking the minds of Indian citizens through a riveting speech made by Finance Minister Arun Jaitley. Thus we had a budget speech … Continue reading The story of the Indian budget: Where the camera failed? Muhammed Shafeeque CM

The Democratic congresswoman from California Maxine Waters is losing her mind over President Trump and Russia.
On MSNBC the intellectually challenged congresswoman got triggered, and started calling President Trump’s cabinet (and anyone who has ties to Russian oil and gas interests) “a bunch of scumbags.”
What does Waters call loser presidential candidates (HRC) who had ties with selling uranium rights to Russia?
(ZHE) As promised two days ago on the Sean Hannity radio show, James O’Keefe and his team at Project Veritas just released covertly captured, previously unheard audio footage from within the CNN newsroom. MSNBC’s Mika Brzezinski (who is the daughter of Zbigniew Brzezinski, the National Security Advisor to President Jimmy Carter) came out and said what we al know…that the mainstream media should be ‘controlling what people think’, not President Trump via twitter.
Discussing fears that President Trump is “trying to undermine the media,” Brzezinski let it slip that the media’s job is to “actually control exactly what people think.”

Did you know that trillions of pieces of plastic float or sink in all the oceans of the world. Those pieces of plastic may be the size of a pin head or the length of a football field as in drift nets. They can kill when eaten and they kill with no mercy 24/7. The invention of plastics will prove humanity’s greatest curse upon the natural world.

Louis XIV ruled France from 1643-1715. During his long reign, he became known as the archetype of western absolutist monarchism. In many ways, it is surprising that his reign lasted for so long as he waged war upon war, the vast majority of which he lost, some of which he lost very badly.
In hindsight, because Louis’ wars bankrupted the French treasury, his reign paved the way for the French Revolution of 1789. Discontent just took several decades to fully boil over.
(ANTIWAR) Fresh on the heels of reports from Lt. Gen. Stephen Townsend that US ground troops have been sent closer to the front lines in the offensive in Mosul, Pentagon officials are now admitting that “some number” of US troops have been wounded in the last six to eight weeks in Mosul.
Senator John McCain made a secret trip to a Kurdish-held region in northern Syria last weekend to speak with US military officials, but more importantly to speak with rebel fighters, and leaders in the region.
Here are photos of some past meetings John McCain had when he was in Syria speaking with “rebel fighters” (aka ISIS-Al Qaeda).
Julie Tarallo, a spokeswoman for Senator McCain, confirmed that he did make the unusual trip to Syria, calling it a “valuable opportunity to assess dynamic conditions on the ground in Syria and Iraq.”
Turkish news agencies are reporting that ISIS fighters have surrendered the strategically important town of Al-Bab in northern Syria to the Turkish military, which is now in full control of the town.
This follows a succession of see-sawing battles for the town, during which Turkish troops have often suffered heavy losses.

I was skipping around the HBO channels the other night, looking for something to watch before going to sleep. Bill Maher popped up on the screen-- with neo-Nazi publicity hound Milo Yiannopoulos and I quickly moved on to Alien vs. Predator. Until the last few weeks not many Americans knew who Milo Yiannopoulos was. Essentially a social media troll, he tries, tries, tries to be outrageous enough to get famous.
