The farcical thing about the Geneva conference is that it is attempting to promote into power-sharing in Syria “opposition” members who have no democratic credentials and represent a scarcely significant portion of those actually fighting the Assad regime in Syria. What the West are trying to achieve is what the CIA and Mossad have now achieved in Egypt; replacing the head of the Mubarak regime while keeping all its power structures in place.
Coincidence? Not. We are witnessing a smear campaign against Syria being put forth by Qatar.
Boggles the mind. We would like think that the more the Feds bite off, and the more you become informed and aware…. The worse the dude in the White House looks. Could he have said, “I am not perfect. I have made some rookie mistakes. Its a vast right wing conspiracy…” (oh that tag belongs to the Clintons) Something. Anything but calling those of us whom ‘Disapprove’ of the job he is doing… “Racist”. Thanks COUSIN BARRY.

Cost of new NATO HQ is soaring
The German news weekly ‘Der Spiegel’ reports that construction of the new NATO headquarters in the Brussels district of Haren is under threat due to rising costs.
The cost of building NATO’s new HQ, across the road from its current headquarters, is said to be soaring. Recent estimates put the final price tag at over 1 billion euro.

Lieutenant-General Benny Gantz of the Israel Defense Forces landed in Brussels, Tuesday afternoon for the North Atlantic Treaty Organization’s annual conference of chiefs of staff. Robert Gates’s new memoir, which I’ve mentioned I’m making my way through, has a nice example of how dangerous entangling alliances can be. Two car bombs have gone off in a southern neighborhood of the Lebanese capital, Beirut, killing several people.
The explosions on Tuesday hit the Haret Hriek neighborhood in southern Beirut, which is considered as a stronghold of Lebanon’s resistance movement Hezbollah.
Reports say that at least four people have been killed and another 46 have been injured.
