Trump Steals Credit from Syrian Army, Russia, Iraq, Iran for ‘Defeating ISIS’ in Syria

U.S. President Donald Trump once again ventured way out of his depth on geopolitics (which isn’t very deep) on Wednesday, taking false credit for diminishing the ISIS footprint in Syria over the last two years of his administration:

Shame on #POTUS stealing credit from those on ground/air who’ve lost lives fighting/defeating #ISIS, namely Syrian Army, Russia, PMU/Hashed al-Shaabi, Iraqi Army, Hezzbola, Iran. Lack of geopolitical awareness… https://t.co/rvVEBmpzm4
