In this video we continue the series from yesterday’s video on why I am not Protestant. Here I cover ten top reasons I am not Roman Catholic. I focus on Vatican I, the papacy, doctrinal development, Uniates, Filioque, absolute divine simplicity, the Vatican Bank and many, many more glaring innovations of the last millennium that are central features of papalism. Papalism ends up in sola Papam – the entire religion ends up revealing around the pope and papal apologists are all papal lawyers.
I just realized today that I was approaching a new milestone for this blog.... As of this writing, I have now passed 5000 articles! It has been a long road since I started out some 11+ years ago, writing at this blog.... I had started out just wanting to give my personal thoughts on a wide range of subjects and the more I started writing the more this site grew in scope...... Now this site has 5000 articles and has well over 6 MILLION views as well, which to me is both astounding and outstanding.....
Being a student of REAL history, and not the bullshit that the criminals tried to brainwash me with during my youth with their so called "history books" nonsense, I have always wanted to see the truth about our past shown and told to everyone...
I honestly have had it with flat earth retardation... Those who have been stupid enough to fall for the crapola that the world is 'flat' honestly need to get their heads checked for brain damage... I have been calling these morons retards now for the last year at least and I refuse to back down from that claim and to hell with the bullshit of "political correctness" in regards to their stupidity...

Giving a sympathetic platform to a terrorist is reprehensible at best, downright criminal at worst, and definitely a bad look for a ‘respected’ media contributor. Oh, it’s for bashing Assad and the Russians? Go ahead, then.

Palestine Chronicle | December 28, 2019 Following his triumph in the Likud party’s primary elections on December 26, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu introduced a political plan aimed at securing US recognition of Israel’s annexation of West Bank settlements and rolling back Iran’s influence in the region. Netanyahu’s plan, which is likely to play a […]
Given that the second branch of the US government is the ‘legislative’ branch, it is no surprise that qualifications for joining that body give pride of place to a degree in law. And yet, it is unlikely that ‘the framers’ — as those who wrote the Constitution are referred to — ever imagined the lengths to which representatives would go to prove the correctness of their party’s positions or the honesty of their vote.
By Caitlin Johnstone | December 27, 2019 Every time you speak out against western imperialism in a given nation or question western propaganda narratives about that nation’s government, you will inevitably be accused of loving that nation’s government by anyone who argues with you. When I say “inevitably”, I am not exaggerating. If you speak […]
By Scott Ritter | RT | December 28, 2019 Despite having provided no proof of Russian meddling in the 2016 or 2020 US presidential election, the Pentagon is preparing to launch a cyberwar against Russia in retaliation. Could the real reason be political? From May 2017 until March 2019, a team of investigators and lawyers […]
By Renée Parsons | OffGuardian | December 28, 2019 It is no surprise that when the Inspector General’s Report was released in early December, the corporate media, which itself has been knee-deep and complicit in spreading the false Russiagate narrative, chose to focus on one narrow conclusion: that, given DOJ’s ‘lax guidelines,’ the IG found […]

The Green New Deal resolution that was introduced into the U.S. House of Representatives in February hit a wall in the Senate, where it was called unrealistic and unaffordable. In a Washington Post article titled “The Green New Deal Sets Us Up for Failure. We Need a Better Approach,” former Colorado governor and Democratic presidential candidate John […]

Press TV – December 28, 2019 The Cameroonian war of independence was a “dirty war” waged by French colonial troops but it never made headlines and even today goes untold in school history books. Sensing a power vacuum in Washington, Europe, and Tel Aviv along with the weakness of North African regimes — and emboldened by his own hubris — Erdogan has promised military boots on the ground in Libya as first reported in Can Recep the Magnificent Sort Out Libya on December 18th.
One of the persistent themes of western political leaders is that they support the notion of “the rule of law”. By this they generally mean the system of law as developed by western nations, and in the international context the formulation over the past 120 years or so of international law.
By this of course, they mean “their law”. Any deviation from this by non-western nations is to be deplored and where appropriate punished.
The prize has gone to three people studying how the poor can derive more benefit from existing “development” practices. It sees no reason to question the existing market and growth-driven economy and its derivative, development theory. It doesn’t threaten the massively unjust and environmentally destructive global systems that keep billions in poverty. The 720,000 pound Prize has been awarded for[Read More...]

A central premise of conventional media wisdom has collapsed. On Thursday, both the New York Times and Politico published major articles reporting that Bernie Sanders really could win the Democratic presidential nomination.Such acknowledgments will add to the momentum of the Bernie 2020 campaign as the new year begins—but they foreshadow a massive escalation of anti-Sanders misinformation and invective.
The Duran’s Alex Christoforou and Editor-in-Chief Alexander Mercouris discuss Boris Johnson’s negotiations with Brussels, as the end of January deadline fast approaches. The EU’s unelected President of the European Commission, Ursula Von der Leyen, admits that the EU is ‘very worried’.
Von der Leyen warned that Brussels may need to extend the deadline for talks about a new trade relationship with the UK.
The Polish minister for Foreign Affairs issued an emergency summons to the Russian ambassador on Friday to firmly protest the “historical insinuations” made by Russian President Vladimir Putin, in which he accused Poland of having established an agreement with Hitler prior to the war’s start, and that the country acted in an anti-semitic fashion during that period.
How Controlled Explanations Are Achieved
Paul Craig Roberts
In 2014 Progressive Press published a book by a French author, Laurent Guyenot, titled JFK-9/11: 50 Years of Deep State. The book contains much interesting reporting that shows that the official explanations we are given about even major events, such as the assassination of a President and 9/11, are transparently false. Yet, these transparently false explanations are hard to challenge despite all available evidence being against the explanations.
“Religion is the sigh of the oppressed creature, the heart of a heartless world, and the soul of soulless conditions. It is the opium of the people.” So Karl Marx wrote in 1843. For three generations over the course of the 20th century his atheist disciples violently sought to break their subjects of this “opium” addiction.

One of the things the newest survey by YouGov for The Economist looked at is how American voters perceive Trump personally. Most of it made sense. Just 33%-- his base basically-- see him as either outstanding or above average. 49% see him as poor (40%) or below average (9%). A majority of voters say his regime isn’t transparent and that Trump himself does not set a high moral standard.
Early this year it was learnt that after 17 years of its existence Countercurrents.org (CC) – which has performed a stellar and useful role – was on the verge of closure. There was said to be a shortfall of Rs. 4 lakhs (USD 6000/- approx.) for its minimal requirement of Rs. 10 lakhs (USD 14,000). And that, too, just for[Read More...]
Evo believes the real reason he is under assault has to do with his victories against the IMF and the nationalization of Bolivian resources.
In the time-honored tradition of Machiavellian statecraft, all of the charges being leveled against Donald Trump to remove him from office – namely, ‘abuse of power’ and ‘obstruction of congress’ –are essentially the same things the Democratic Party has been guilty of for nearly half a decade: abusing their powers in a non-stop attack on the executive branch. Is the reason because they desperately need a ‘get out of jail free’ card?

Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro, accompanied by First Lady Michelle Bolsonaro, made a Christmas address to their country on Tuesday night. The address was just as comical as Bolsonaro’s year of failures, with the most interesting part being the president claiming that the year ended “without any denunciation of corruption.” No corruption scandals?

Democracy, a written constitution, a superb human rights record, prosperity, strong economic growth, a clean environment and an enviable educational system: the Republic of Ireland has it all. In almost a century of independence our state has achieved more than many thought possible. It begs the question: is the Irish model one which most of the world should strive to emulate?

If one considers the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) alone, it appears that the Centre is providing some concessions to ‘immigrants’ coming from three neighbouring Islamic nations into India, classifying them as religious minorities persecuted in those nations, to secure citizenship in India.
