One of the most significant developments of the post-Cold War era, and certainly the most ominous, is the transformation of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO), a military bloc created by the United States during the genesis of the Cold War in 1949, into one that has grown to encompass the entirety of Europe, has expanded military partnerships throughout the world and has waged war on three continents.

I notice there are more then a couple articles questioning why Israel dropped the chemical weapon meme bomb? What is up with this second guessing? Admitting to being a bit stumped and having to think this over... So, anyone with some relevant thoughts, leave them..

I have watched over the last two weeks the constant barrage of reports and stories everywhere about the Boston Marathon operation (Yes that is an operation!), and it does seem that news elsewhere in the world has been badly overlooked.... We have seen the bombing at Boston and worries about fraudulent "terrorist" attacks, and the world has continued to badly overlook the still dangerous and deadly situation with the failed nuclear reactors at Fukushima Japan...I came across the following article that I definitely want to share with my own readers...
At The Daily Beast, James Kirchick blasts the new Ron Paul Institute for being “comprised of anti-Semites, 9/11 truthers, and dictator lovers.” Kirchick goes astray on a number of claims, but at one point he links to a piece by former CIA official Michael Scheuer published at Antiwar.com in 2008.
The US military is one of the few institutions in America that draws its members from all races and religions with blood relatives in all ethnic groups except for Jews. We are under threat of extinction from our self-appointed leaders on Wall street and in the City of London who gave them selves the right to create our money as a loan at interest. This has led to a Mountain of Unpayable Debts. Our economies are near collapse. Banker Occupied Governments see us as an enemy. Their Foundations have done hundreds of studies saying they would be better off without us.
Down in Texas, the George W. Bush Library is having formal opening ceremonies today. In honor of the occasion, here’s a few epigrams from my 2004 book, The Bush Betrayal:

The myths of 9/11 continue to threaten American safety.
Yesterday would have been uber-diplomat Richard Holbrooke’s 72nd birthday. He died December 13, 2010 while on the job as our top envoy to Afghanistan, and one can’t help thinking that whatever 1960′s idealism still existed in terms of making that country a better place, died with him. At least symbolically.
