North Carolina Deputy Fired for Shooting 11-Year-Old Daughter During Halloween Party

A North Carolina sheriff’s deputy has been fired after she shot her daughter at a Halloween party over the weekend, the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office announced Monday.
Misty Michelle Flowers, 38, was showing her department-issued service weapon to friends at her home in Lincolnton Saturday when she negligently fired the gun.
The bullet tore through a wall, striking her daughter in the next room.

Responding to a call of a possible burglary in progress, North Carolina police encountered a man sitting on the front porch of a home, who told them he lived in the house with his mother, only he did not have the key to get inside.
The two Greensboro cops asked Dejuan Yourse a series of questions, then checked out his identification, but were still not satisfied that he lived there.

After four days of refusing to release body and dash cam videos from the shooting death of Keith Lamont Scott, Charlotte-Mecklenberg police succumbed to pressure and released the videos on Saturday.
However, the videos do not confirm what police have been saying all along; that Scott deserved to die because he “posed an imminent deadly threat” to officers.
They do not even prove that Scott was holding a gun nor does it prove he was holding a book as witnesses been saying.

A new video surfaced from the North Carolina police shooting death of Keith Lamont Scott, showing Charlotte police officers holding him at gunpoint, ordering him to “drop the gun” before they open fire and kill him.
The footage, recorded by his wife, does not show any gun nor does it prove he was not holding a gun.
But it captures his wife telling officers he has no gun.
Rakeyia Scott can also be heard telling her husband, “Keith, don’t you do it” as he steps out of an SUV.

North Carolina cops claim they have a dash cam video showing Keith Lamont Scott charging towards officers with a gun in his hand, making them fear for their lives, which is why they had to shoot him dead.
However, it’s been more than 16 hours since WSOCTV reported that “sources” told them about this dash cam video, but Charlotte-Mecklenberg police have yet to release it.
