Government shutdown

Republican Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene is now calling for Bowman to be prosecuted and says that he violated the same law, interfering with an official proceeding, that January 6 defendants were prosecuted.

Judge Eric Moye sentenced Luther to seven days in jail and ordered her to pay $7,000 in fines after she refused to apologize or admit that she was being "selfish". Jails are releasing criminals to stop the spread of COVID-19, yet citizens who want to work to support their families are thrown into jail.

Trump signed a bill to reopen the government for 3 weeks and says he may shut it down again or might use emergency powers if a deal is not reached on a border wall. Democrat Senator, Chuck Schumer, says, if Trump declares an emergency to build the wall, it will be challenged in court.
