The 2018 government shutdown is now over but I’m thankful Democrats like Chuck Schumer got the chance to make announcements that expose just what the Democrats presently are and what they actually stand for. The party that is currently referring to themselves as the “Resistance” is, in reality, closer to being a movement of submissive obsequious corporatists.

Democrats cave in government shutdown fight

The Senate Democrats relinquished their idiotic refusal to negotiate a stopgap spending bill on Monday, clearing the way for the full services of the Federal government to resume.  The vote on the Senate floor to end the filibuster was 81-18, clearing the way for the passage of this spending bill.  The House was expected to follow through in much the same fashion later Monday.
