SANA’A, YEMEN — At least one third of those killed by U.S. drone strikes in the war-torn country of Yemen over the past year have been civilians, according to a recent Associated Press investigation.
SANA’A, YEMEN — A source inside of Yemen’s Air Force told MintPress that an unmanned long-range drone, dubbed the Samad 2, targeted an Aramco oil refinery in Saudi Arabia’s capital city of Riyadh, located over 1000 km (621 miles) away from Yemen’s capital, Sana’a.
The source, speaking on condition of anonymity, told MintPress that the drone successfully bombed the Aramco refinery and then returned to its base in Yemen.
ASIR, YEMEN — In a new development in the Saudi-led coalition’s three-year-old war on Yemen, Yemen’s armed forces used a drone for the first time to target the coalition’s headquarters in Camp Boraiqa, Aden. A military source confirmed to MintPress that the strikes caused multiple casualties, killing troops from the UAE, including military officers.

GAZA STRIP, PALESTINE — In a frightening development, Israeli occupying forces have deployed a new unmanned aerial system in the Gaza Strip that drops tear gas canisters from above, according to video footage obtained by Lebanon’s al-Mayadeen news.
The event, described by officials as an “experiment,” is the first recorded incident of weaponized crowd-control UAVs (i.e., drones) being used against unarmed Palestinian civilians in a non-combat environment.
