In a motion for a resolution presented in a local parliament, the liberals intend to counter the idea that only right-wing extremism must be fought when the left-wing one is also, according to them, a threat to fundamental freedoms.
RT | July 6, 2018 There are many reasons the bipartisan US establishment hates Trump. His heresies from neoliberal orthodoxies on immigration and trade are prominent. But top among them is his oft-stated intention to improve relations with Russia. That’s fighting words for the Deep State and its mainstream media arm, for which demonizing Russia […]
Over the last year and a half, we’ve witnessed a rash of accounts of college campuses being turned into riot zones by Leftist protestors hoping to shut down conservative or libertarian speakers.
Earlier this week, Gaius did a an OpEd for the San Francisco Chronicle, hidden behind a paywall. (The paper charges $2.50 a copy, by the way.) His piece is too important to leave it there. The Next U.S.
Strategic Culture Foundation | July 6, 2018 Any reasonable person would have to welcome the summit between US President Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin to be held on July 16 in Helsinki. However, what is most telling is the crescendo of scurrilous attempts purveyed by Western news media to spoil the forthcoming meeting. […]

At a party on Martha’s Vineyard, a woman said if Harvard law professor Alan Dershowitz were in front of her, she would stab him through the heart. The Marxist philosophy of the radical left that pits opposing groups against each other is spreading. Dershowitz is being shunned by the left, led by Professor Nicholas Negroponte who has told his students not to engage with people with whom they disagree. [...]
The fact that a product as simple as the Lego Brick has managed to stay relevant in an increasingly digital world is truly spectacular. But this success did not come without its fair share of struggles. In fact, at several points over the last two decades, Lego has found itself facing financial ruin. But in spite of its struggles, the Lego Group has managed to become the largest toy company in the entire world.

RT | July 5, 2018 A new poisoning incident on UK soil has given British politicians a perfect reason for launching another McCarthian witch hunt on dissent. One MP already targeted RT and was called out for limiting free speech. “Could … members of this house on all sides not appear on Putin’s propaganda television […]
When socialism inevitability fails, the ruling elites have to shift the attention of the population to a scapegoat. Someone or some group other than the political leadership needs to be blamed.

Sooner or later- sooner if they are rude and later if they are polite enough to wait until we have developed a relationship that would allow them to ask a personal question, Russians will inevitably ask “Why are you here?” Some in a tone of suspicion or contempt, will ask me as if they were throwing down a gauntlet The[Read More...]
Neither the U.S. nor the Russian Federation can afford to allow their relations to deteriorate into another Cold War. Russia is too important on too many issues, including acting as a counterweight to China, the most serious geopolitical challenge to the U.S. Hopefully the upcoming summit will begin the difficult process of rebuilding a working relationship between Washington and Moscow.
Journalists declaring something to be the case before it has actually happened is outrageous and unethical.

The plans for the mass acquisition of Russia’s most advanced anti-aircraft defensive systems, S-400 and S-500, being made in the East have caused widespread panic in the West. As a matter of fact, the list of Middle Eastern and Asian states standing in line for these systems is exceeding long and growing.
The US Senate Intelligence Committee released a report on the findings of the intelligence community on an investigation into alleged Russian meddling in the US presidential election of 2016.
The Senate Intelligence Committee upheld the conclusion of the intelligence community that Russia developed a “clear preference” for candidate Donald Trump in the 2016 election and sought to help him win the White House.
Instead of welcoming this engagement as an important step towards securing world peace, an array of powerful interests both in the US and Europe are trying their best to sabotage the high-level crucial talks.

The key problem remains how to make Trump understand what’s at stake in terms of US forces leaving Al-Tanf. The Pentagon and the CIA absolutely love the idea of having the Maghawhir takfiris constantly attacking the SAA on the only available crossing between Syria and Iraq on al-Qaim-Albu-Kamal.

Iranian President Hassan Rouhani has repeatedly declared that Iran will remain committed to the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) as long as the European signatories can compensate for America’s withdrawal from the accord. This article by Michael Stone is fatuous and pusillanimous. It mentions a paper by the judge on the matter of capital punishment which sentence the judge opposes. Stone has clearly not read the paper in which she, the judge, clearly states the religious requirement for a Catholic judge who opposed the death penalty to recuse him or herself from the sentencing phase in a capital case.
