The private consortium that will manage the decommissioning of the UK’s decaying Magnox nuclear reactors won’t be made to bear financial responsibility in the event of a radioactive incident. Taxpayers will have to pick up the tab instead.
I am in the process of writing a post showing that Mann’s claim that he had personally been exonerated by the UK House of Commons Science and Technology Committee (report here) of a wide range of counts was also untrue. It’s so untrue that it’s hard to even make an interesting post of it.

The new commander of the anti-Damascus militancy group, the Free Syrian Army (FSA), Abdul-Ilah al-Bashir has been trained in Israel, media reports said.
Al-Bashir had gone to Israel for treatment last year after he was wounded in Southern Syria during clashes with the Syrian army, Al-Ahd news website reported.
We are currently in a Depression. It has not hit us full force yet because we can print money to feed 48 million Americans on Food Stamps. I have previously said Depressions are caused by the accumulation of Unpayable Debts. Unpayable Debts are created because we allow bankers to charge us interest on money they create out of nothing. Depressions are periods of time when Unpayable Debts are cancelled en masse. I would prefer a systematic and worldwide Debt Cancellation over a 1930s style Great Depression which starved a minimum of 3 million Americans to death.
