Soothing the Beast: Saturday Night BFP-Jamiol Music, Episode 113

Annie Lennox – Waiting in Vain
We haven’t visited Annie Lennox for a while and seeing that she’s one of my favorite artists, she’ll be this week’s Soothing the Beast BFP/Jamiol Music Pick. The song is Bob Marley’s Waiting in Vain and Annie’s cover of the song is the best…so tonight it’s Annie Lennox on stage performing Waiting in Vain…enjoy…DJPJ

Soothing the Beast: Saturday Night BFP-Jamiol Music, Episode 112

Diane Krall- “Cry Me A River”
Soothing is the operative word for this week’s Soothing the Beast BFP/Jamiol Music Pick. Canadian jazz pianist and singer Diana Krall takes us down with her performance of Cry Me a River. Krall has sold more than 6 million albums in the US and over 15 million worldwide. How
she performs this song is a tiny bit of proof of why she has such a huge following…Enjoy…DJPJ.

Soothing the Beast: Saturday Night BFP-Jamiol Music, Episode 111

Crosby, Stills & Nash- “Wooden Ships”
This week’s Soothing the Beast BFP/Jamiol Music Pick is from one of my favorite groups… Crosby, Stills & Nash. The song is Wooden Ships which was written by David Crosby, Paul Kanter and Stephen Stills. It was written at the height of the Vietnam War and describes the consequences of an apocalyptic nuclear war. While not the most “Soothing” subject matter, C, S & N do it up nicely in this live performance…so kick back and enjoy…DJPJ.
