Natalie Merchant – “These are the Days”
I spent the most of the past couple of day shoveling out from a nasty Northeaster so I really need some good music to kick back to. So to fill that bill is this week’s Soothing the Beast BFP/Jamiol Music Pick…Natalie Merchant performing her hit These are the Days. I love this clip of her. She shows her free spirit as she sings and dances across the stage. One comment on YouTube is from a dad quoting the text on a poster he got for his daughter, It read, “one thing is dancing with the feet, another is dancing with the heart”… Natalie is clearly the latter. There’s also a pretty good band behind her with some nice horn with cool percussion..
