DAMASCUS, Syria — Syrian air defenses opened fire Tuesday night on missiles launched from Israeli warplanes on the central province of Homs, shooting down some of them, state media said.State TV said the warplanes fired the missiles while flying in Lebanese airspace. The outlet said the warplanes targeted a Syrian army position without saying where exactly. It added that some of the missiles were shot down.
Syrian state media, along with Lebanese media and Syrian military source, reported that Syrian air defenses intercepted several suspected Israeli missiles fired towards Homs on Tuesday, March 31. The missiles were reportedly fired by the Israeli Air Force from Lebanese airspace. Although the specific target has not been confirmed, sources indicated that the target of the attack was a Syrian military position

April 01/20 :Homs, SANA- The army air defenses confronted an Israeli missile aggression East of Homs and shot down a number of the missiles before reaching their targets.
“At 20.25 of Tuesday, the Israeli warplanes launched a number of missiles, from over Lebanon, into the direction of eastern Homs… immediately, the army air defenses intercepted the hostile missiles and shot down a number of them,” a military source told SANA.
