Syrian Rebels Raid Doctors Without Borders Hospital

Doctors Without Borders has suspended its activities in the besieged Damascus suburbs of East Ghouta after militants stormed its hospital looking for wounded enemies amid intense clashes between rival Syrian rebel groups.
According to reports from MSF-supported doctors in the area, about 30 masked and armed men stormed the Hazzeh Hospital in the East Ghouta region on 29 April, looking for specific wounded patients. They also stole the hospital’s ambulance.

In comments today on ABC’s “This Week,” National Security Adviser H.R. McMaster downplayed the chances of the US sending more ground troops to Syria, saying that it still “remains to be seen” if more troops are needed, but that he doubts the US will have to send any more.
