Netanyahu Lobbies Britain To Act Against Threat Of ‘Militant’ Iran

Benjamin Netanyahu has pressed Britain to act against a “militant Iran” bent on conquering the Middle East and destroying Israel, as he attempted to shift the focus of talks with Theresa May away from illegal settlement building in the occupied West Bank.

(REPORT) — Incoming US Ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley issued a statement today warning of repercussions for countries that “don’t have America’s back” at the international body, insisting the new administration marks a “change in the way we do business.”

(REPORT) — The US House of Representatives voted on Thursday to condemn a UN resolution reprimanding Israel over its settlement activity, blasting last month’s move by the international body as “an obstacle to Israeli-Palestinian peace”.
