WATCH: Minnesota Cop’s K-9 Attacks Innocent Woman Taking out Trash; Now She’s Suing

A Minnesota cop’s K-9 attacked an innocent woman as she was taking out her trash in September.
And now she’s suing.
St. Paul cop Thaddeus P. Schmidt failed to maintain control of his police dog that mauled her arm for more than 30 seconds after grabbing her and knocking her to the ground.
“You’re fine,” one officer can be heard telling the woman as he grabs her hand, pulling her away from the dog.
But that only appears to cause her more pain, since the dog’s bite is locked onto her arm pulling her in the opposite direction.

South Carolina Cop Guilty of Killing Walter Scott, Sentenced to 20 Years

The South Carolina cop who shot and killed a man as he was running away from him, later claiming he was in fear for his life because the man was trying to take his taser, was sentenced to 20 years in prison a federal judge ruled today.
And only because a witness happened to video record the shooting.
The video shows North Charleston police officer Michael Slager shoot Walter Scott as the 50-year-old man was running away from him in 2015, striking him five times in the back, killing him instantly.

South Florida Police Release Video of Deputy Shooting Ex-Girlfriend Incident

They dated for five months before she broke it off, claiming the deputy was too racist and controlling for her taste.
But Palm Beach County sheriff’s deputy Michael DeMarco ended up shooting her three times before turning the gun on himself.
Now police have released surveillance video footage of the moments leading up to her shooting on October 12.

Arizona Cops Omit Vital Details from Police Shooting Report of Daniel Shaver

In the moments before an Arizona police officer opened fire and killed Daniel Shaver, the unarmed man begged police not to kill him.
“Please don’t shoot me,” Shaver pleaded as he crawled on his hands and knees towards the cops before one of them opened fire, killing him instantly.
Mesa police officer Philip “Mitch” Brailsford later claimed he was in fear for his life because Shaver had reached for his waistband.

Pennsylvania Cops Terrorize Elderly Couple After Confusing Hibiscus Plants for Marijuana

Armed with assault rifles, Pennsylvania cops forced a 66-year-old woman out of her home, handcuffing her in her underwear while ransacking her home, looking for marijuana.
They ended up finding only hibiscus plants.
Buffalo Township police also handcuffed her 69-year-old husband at  gunpoint after he arrived home and finding a dozen cops rummaging through their home, looking for the non-existing marijuana plants.

Man Shot by Texas Cops for Burglarizing Own Truck Shot Again After Resisting Anal Search

The unarmed man shot by Texas cops for trying to break into his own car resisted an anal cavity search after he was shot, according to his attorneys.
So Mesquite police officer Derick L. Wiley shot him again.
“Within 10 seconds of their arrival, he had been shot it the stomach,” Lee Merritt, an attorney representing 31-year-old Lyndo Jones, told WFAA8.

Utah Nurse Violently Arrested for Refusing Blood Draw on Unconscious Patient Receives $500,000 Settlement

Salt Lake City has agreed to pay nurse Alex Wubbels a $500,000 settlement just two weeks after the detective who arrested her for refusing to allow a blood draw on her unconscious patient filed an appeal to get his job back, claiming had it not been for a camera he would still have a job.
Now Wubbels plans to use a portion of the settlement to help other police abuse victims obtain access to body cam footage.

Virginia police suspended the First Amendment at a parade this weekend, violently arresting a journalist for cursing while he attempted to question GOP gubernatorial candidate Ed Gillespie, who many say is running a racist campaign.
“You’re in the road,” a Fairfax County Mason District cop barked at reporter Mike Stark on October 26 during a verbal confrontation at the annual parade in Annandale, which was attended by Gillespie.
Stark, who is not in the road but rather standing in the entrance of a parking lot, begins to protest.
