Where is the West’s Compassion and Condemnation Following Terror Attacks in Middle East?

Facebook users were not instructed to do so, but may nonetheless wish to change their profile pictures in solidarity with the families and friends of victims of recent terrorist attacks.
A great many of the victims were aspiring university students, others were school teachers, children, infants, parents, and elderly. Their bodies were torn apart in the acts of violence, many unidentifiable.
Most of these innocent victims will go unnamed, their murders obfuscated, or largely unnoticed, in Western media.

Christmas Celebrated in Terror-Ravaged Syria

Due to corporate media’s misrepresentation of Syria, some may be surprised to know that Syrians—suffering terribly under nearly five years of the foreign war on their country—are also celebrating Christmas from Damascus to Homs to Aleppo. Glittering displays, street Santas, choirs singing carols and people singing Jingle Bells, and tacky, exuberant Christmas parades are not unique to the West.

Syria: University students in Homs celebrate army gains over IS

Syrian students and teachers of one of the country's biggest universities gathered in the centre of Homs, Wednesday, to thank Russia for its role in the Syrian conflict. You can hear them chanting Bashar al-Assad and they are carrying banners featuring Assad and Putin's faces.

Islamist militants to safety by UN agreement with Syria’s Government

Conflicting Reports about new settlement in the Syrian crises between the government and Wae’r based rebels in Homs, Sponsored by the United Nations.
Homs’ governor Talal Al-Barazi will take a part as the Representative of the Syrian regime, he told AFP that meeting will be held in his office attended by a delegation of ( Armed and Non Armed opposition)  from Al-Waer district and representatives of the United Nations in order to install the previous agreements on a final settlement in the neighborhood.

The Liberation of Homs, Beginning of the End of the Aggression Against Syria

The liberation of Homs, the third largest city of the Syrian Arab Republic, is not just an event among others in the war waged by NATO and the GCC on Syria. For Thierry Meyssan, the agreement reached between the Republic and its attackers suggests a quick exit from the war. It will probably be accompanied by a redistribution of regional roles.

Dutch Jesuit priest beaten and killed in Syria

 
AMSTERDAM  – A Dutch Jesuit priest was beaten and shot dead by unidentified gunmen at his monastery in the besieged Syrian city of Homs on Monday, the Vatican said.
Frans van der Lugt, 75, had been living in Syria since the early 1970s. Armed men took him from his home in the morning and shot him twice in the head, Dutch newspaper de Volkskrant reported, citing the head of the Jesuit order in the Netherlands
