YEMENI-SAUDI BORDER — As the widely unpopular Saudi-led, U.S.-backed war on Yemen continues to push the country deeper into one of the world’s worst humanitarian crises, Saudi Arabia has launched a vicious campaign to secure Jizan, its vulnerable southern border region with Yemen, which has been its Achilles heel in its brutal assault on its southern neighbor. Yemen’s Houthi fighters, the primary force resisting the Saud-led occupation of Yemen, frequently target the Saudi military in Jizan, sending a stark reminder to the Kingdom that its war on Yemen will inevitably be felt at home.

Yemen’s Navy Uses New Missile to Destroy Saudi Military Vessel Near Hajjah

SANA’A, YEMEN — Yemen’s navy targeted a military vessel belonging to Saudi Arabia off of the northwestern coast of Hajjah on Wednesday, reportedly killing all aboard the vessel. The boat, which was in the Medi port, was carrying out attacks on the residential districts of Heiran and Medi in Hajjah when it was hit, according to a statement from Yemen’s navy.
A source in Yemen’s navy confirmed to MintPress News that it targeted the Saudi vessel with a new type of domestically-manufactured missile, but did not name the missile.

Saudi Arabia Conducts Over 50 Air Raids on Yemen in Just 24 Hours

(GPA) — Saudi Arabia decided to honor the final day of Ramadan in typical Saudi fashion by conducting over 50 airstrikes on various Yemeni provinces in just 24 hours.
35 airstrikes were carried out in the province of Marib, slightly east of Sana’a. 14 aistrikes hit various districts of Hajjah province including Midi and Herad. They also carried out three raids in both Taiz and Sa’ada provinces.
