Donald Trump’s America is starting to look like Boris Yeltsin’s Russia

While many attempt to debate who or what is in charge of the United States, the truth is that no single individual or even a single entity is in charge of the United States anymore.
This was true under Barack Obama, but Obama’s middle-management style of governing helped to hide this fact. Donald Trump who is a single-minded, straight talking and deeply opinionated man has by contrast, thrown a great deal of light onto the reality of just who governs the United States.

Vladimir Putin sends message to Russia-Islamic World Conference

Kazan, the capital of the Russian Republic of Tatarstan is often thought of as a symbol of conservative multiculturalism, something distinct from the radical forced acculturation which has caused social tensions in Europe and the United States.
In the Kazan Kremlin (citadel), the Qolşärif Mosque stands within close proximity to the Annunciation Orthodox Cathedral as well as the Kazan Kreml’ House church.  This is often seen as a symbol representing peace between Islam and Christianity.

Russians want Putin for another Presidential term

Vladimir Putin has still not declared whether he intends to run in next year’s Russian Presidential election, but according to a recent poll by Russia’s Levada Centre, 64% of Russians want Putin to be President for another term. If Putin runs and wins in the 2018 election, he will remain in office until 2024, the same year Trump will leave office in the US should he seek and win another term in 2020.
Thus far, the only mainstream Russian politician who has officially declared his candidacy is LDPR (Liberal Democratic Party of Russia) founder Vladimir Zhirinovsky.

Donald Trump’s inauguration speech: make bolshevism great again?

I am not now, nor have I ever been a member of the Communist Party and nor has Donald Trump, but listening to Trump’s inauguration speech, one could be forgiven for thinking otherwise.
The short speech was one part Lenin and one part Gennady Zyuganov, the current and long-time leader of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation.
