Kremlin Warns That ‘Hysteria’ Is Hurting US-Russia Relations

(REPORT) — In new comments today, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov warned that recent “hysteria” in the United States is having a seriously negative impact on US-Russia relations, saying Americans need to “be sober” and ask themselves if they really believe America is so weak that another nation can readily influence the outcome of their elections.

(REPORT) — Amid reports that Moscow is considering handing over NSA whistleblower Edward Snowden as a “gift” to U.S. President Donald Trump, a Russian government spokesperson said Monday that the Kremlin and the White House have not discussed the matter, Russia’s state TASS agency reported.

“We’re very kind and very patient,” says Kremlin in last words to O’Rilley

Russia is “very kind and very patient”, said Vladimir Putin’s spokesman, Dmitry Peskov, in response to Bill O’Rilley’s refusal to apologize for calling Russia’s President ‘a killer’ during his weekend interview with Donald Trump.
“Apparently, the Putin administration in Moscow [is] demanding that I — your humble correspondent — apologize for saying ‘Old Vlad’ is a killer,” O’Reilly said on his Fox show. “So I’m working on that apology, but it might take a little time. Might want to check in with me around 2023.”

Russia disagrees with Trump on Iran

The Russians have made it absolutely clear over the course of the day that they disagree with the Trump administration’s increasingly confrontational policy towards Iran.
In a succession of what were clearly coordinated statements top Russian officials have made it clear that they will not sacrifice their relations with Iran in return for better relations with the US.

Russia demands apology after Bill O’Reilly calls Vladimir Putin “a killer”

As was reported earlier by The Duran’s Alex Christoforou, Fox News’ Bill O’Reilly interviewed President Donald Trump before the Super Bowl. During that interview, Bill O’Reilly asked if POTUS Trump respects Russian President Vladimir Putin. Unsatisfied with Trump’s positive response, O’Reilly blurted out an insult, calling the Russian President “a killer”.

I noted that the questions asked were less rabidly hostile than what the western media used to ask over the past years. Could it be that NBC or US journalists in general “got the message” from Trump and are slowly changing their tune? If so – then this is already one good “Trump effect” we can observe. Hopefully there will be many more.

Washington collapses into scandal, Moscow remains calm

As Washington descends into hysteria over the Russian hacking claims and the Dossier into Donald Trump’s supposed Russian connections, Moscow – the other capital involved in the scandal – remains calm.
Dmitry Peskov, President Putin’s spokesman, denied the allegations in the Trump Dossier yesterday, just as the Russians have previously denied the hacking claims and the claims that they leaked the DNC and Podesta emails to Wikileaks.
