The US did not reject Russia’s offer of cooperation in developing a coronavirus vaccine, according to a Moscow health official, who says help wasn’t even proffered, despite claims from CNN.

Social media giant YouTube announced yesterday a host of new measures it says are aimed at preventing any interference in the upcoming presidential elections. Chief among the list it wrote on its blog, is “removing content that contains hacked information, the disclosure of which may interfere with democratic processes, such as elections and censuses.” An example it gives, would be deleting “videos that contain hacked information about a political candidate.”

On Tuesday I gave an English lesson, really in the form of practice and conversation, with a student who has become a friend as well. This student is older than I and the work the student does is quite prominent – as an example, our lesson was periodically interrupted by messages from or regarding high ranking government officials.

It is always exciting when some insider breaks away from an organization to spill all the dirty details of what is happening deep in its guts. Recently an MSNBC producer’s life story “defected” over the border onto Fox News’ territory to be used to tell the tales of hypocrisy and manipulation that are ever present at MSNBC. For some readers these revelations may seem shocking but they are a natural part of working in news media, that is very hard to change as the causes are inherent to the medium.

A black man named Bernell Trammell was shot, execution style, as he sat a lawn chair in front of his office. This happened in broad daylight, at 12:30pm local time, Thursday July 23rd, 2020. The assailant is still at large.
CNN didn’t cover this.
MSNBC didn’t cover this.
The New York Times did not pick this up.
Neither did The Washington Post
Nor did CBS, NBC, or ABC in their newscasts.

His Fox program, Tucker Carlson Tonight has hit time after time after time with laserlike accuracy against the radical leftism rioting and violence on display all across the United States and even outside the US. His criticism of the people and actions involved has been without hyperbole, though definitely with personal emotion, and it is not off the mark to say that Mr. Carlson has for the time being eclipsed even that great founder of conservative media, Rush Limbaugh.
