FL-13-- A Special Election All About Hypocrisy
The DCCC and NRCC have already spent over half a million dollars in FL-13 smearing, respectively, NRCC candidate David Jolly and DCCC candidate Alex Sink. The DCCC spent $288,151 last week and the NRCC put in , $220,049 last week (bringing their total to $353,419). Two other especially sleazy outfits have jumped in, one on behalf of Jolly, (the Allen West Guardian Fund- $36,930) and one on behalf of Sink (EMILY's List- $15,264).

69 Killed, 84 Wounded in Fresh Iraq Attacks
At least 69 people were killed across Iraq, and another 84 were wounded. Again, as in recent days, many of the casualties were in Anbar province, where some of the residents claim government shelling against insurgents is actually killing civilians.

The United Nations High Commission for Refugees warned that residents are fleeing the areas in and around the cities of Ramadi and Falluja in numbers that rival those at the height of the sectarian war ended six years ago. At least 19 people were killed and 86 more were wounded today. Most of the wounded were injured during shelling in Anbar province.
