The US Isn’t Leaving Iraq As Mystery Letter Psyop Makes the Rounds

We all know the US DID NOT leave Syria... So, should we believe there is a letter of agreement claiming they will, indeed, leave Iraq? There is a letter claiming “movement out of Iraq” But does the mystery letter, which most probably doesn’t even exist, really state an exit is coming? “Repositioning forces over the course of the coming days and weeks to prepare for forward movement”  Well that sentence doesn’t state exit. Obfuscation. Misleading. Not exit.Mystery Letter Rubbish

"The US military informed its counterparts in Baghdad on Monday it was preparing for “movement out of Iraq,” a day after the Iraqi parliament urged the government oust foreign troops. The head of the US military’s Task Force Iraq, Brigadier General William Seely, sent a letter to the head of Iraq’s joint operations command, a copy of which was seen by AFP.The letter said troops would “be repositioning forces over the course of the coming days and weeks to prepare for onward movement.”

A US defense official and an Iraqi defense official confirmed the letter was real and had been delivered.“Sir, in deference to the sovereignty of the Republic of Iraq, and as requested by the Iraqi Parliament and the Prime Minister, CJTF-OIR will be repositioning forces over the course of the coming days and weeks to prepare for onward movement,” read the letter. It was signed by United States Marine Corps Brigadier General William H. Seely III, commanding general of Task Force Iraq, the US-led military coalition against ISIS.The authenticity of the letter, which was addressed to the Iraqi defense ministry’s Combined Joint Operations Baghdad, was confirmed by both Reuters and AFP independently via Iraqi military source.Sources told Al Arabiya that the letter was also sent to the Iraqi parliament.

US Denies Exit- BBCThe US has some 5,000 troops in Iraq

"The letter appeared to have been sent by Brig Gen William H Seely, head of the US military's task force in Iraq, to Abdul Amir, the deputy director of Combined Joint Operations. It starts: "Sir, in due deference to the sovereignty of the Republic of Iraq, and as requested by the Iraqi Parliament, and the Prime Minister, CJTF-OIR (Combined Joint Task Force - Operation Inherent Resolve) will be repositioning forces over the course of the coming days and weeks to prepare for onward movement."The letter says certain measures, including increased air traffic, will be conducted "during hours of darkness" to "ensure the movement out of Iraq is conducted in a safe and efficient manner".It would also "alleviate any perception that we may be bringing more Coalition Forces into the IZ (Green Zone in Baghdad)".But Mr Esper said: "There's been no decision whatsoever to leave Iraq. I don't know what that letter is... We're trying to find out where that's coming from, what that is."But there's been no decision made to leave Iraq. Period."

Esper's statement is very clear:

There's been no decision whatsoever to leave Iraq. I don't know what that letter is... We're trying to find out where that's coming from, what that is."But there's been no decision made to leave Iraq. Period."

The parliamentary vote was meaningless and this latest spin about a possibly non existent letter was just more war time propaganda..
