This new blast came about two days after an earlier bomb attack on the same market, which resulted in 19 civilian casualties and the injuring of 29 others as a result of a car bomb parked near a gas station in the center of Tel Abyad.
The Turkish army and the armed factions supported by it took control of the city of Tal Abyad in the countryside of Raqqa, on the thirteenth of last October, after fierce battles with the “SDF”, where these clashes coincided with intense artillery and rocket attacks, which led then to having dozens of civilians killed and wounded.
