As President Trump careers erratically and emotionally from tweet to tweet the world wonders what can possibly come next. There seems to be no limit to his flights of polemic, and one of those on March 4 concerned an assertion that he had been spied upon by his predecessor, Barack Obama, which he considered «Terrible! Just found out that Obama had my ‘wires tapped’ in Trump Tower just before the victory. Nothing found. This is McCarthyism!» He followed this by «How low has President Obama gone to tapp [sic] my phones during the very sacred election process. This is Nixon/Watergate. Bad (or sick) guy!»
