CIA and Mossad cooperated together in the killing of Hezbollah senior figure Imad Mughniyah

CIA and Mossad cooperated together in the assasination of Imad Mughniyah, a senior top figure within the military wing of Hezbollah, in 2008. CIA tested 25 bombs to be sure the blast would be strong enough to take away the life of Imad Mughniyah. Eventually, Imad Mughniyah was killed by a car bomb in Syria, Damascus. The United States of America provided also surveillance besides providing the bomb which was used to commit the assasination with.
Imad Mughniyah was assasinated on February 12th, 2008. CIA agents observed Imad Mughniyah, and followed him while he was leaving a restaurant in Damascus. When the Americans noticed Imad Mughniyah approached his car, the agents gave Mossad the order to detonate the bomb. Imad Mughniyah was 45 years old. CIA has always denied their involvement in the killing of Imad Mughniyah. Hezbollah swore revenge after the assasination, and accused Israel of commiting the murder.
