Trump plans to sign two new bipartisan spending bills totaling $1.4-trillion. The legislation contains more than 2,300 pages. Meanwhile, US national debt is over $23-trillion. There is no money to pay for any of this. The word insanity comes to mind.

It is interesting to note that with all the talk of ‘Resistance’ and impeachment of President Trump coming from the Democrat side of the aisle in Washington DC, when it comes to legislation and run-away spending bills – there seems to be little or no resistance to Trump’s agenda of militarizing US society and deploying more US assets to various foreign bases, and even into outer space.

When considering the possibility of great-power conflict in the near future, it is difficult to bypass space as one of the main areas of strategic focus for the major powers. The United States, Russia and China all have cutting-edge programs for the militarization of space, though with a big difference.
