Angered at finding his girlfriend with another man, an award-winning Cleveland cop attacked her as she slept, pistol-whipping and punching her several times in the face, pointing a gun at her and firing two rounds.
The bullets tore into a mattress inches from her head.
Patrolman Tommie Griffin III then forced her into the basement where he raped her at gunpoint Friday evening.
He then drove off but was arrested at gunpoint the following afternoon after Parma police tracked his phone, finding him at a bar at 1:30 p.m.

Sheriff Phil Plummer, pictured during a press conference, has so far declined to comment on the allegations in the lawsuit.
DAYTON, Ohio  — A federal lawsuit alleges that officers at an Ohio jail beat a homeless veteran so severely that he ended up in a coma for two months and is now wheelchair-bound and cognitively disabled.

An Ohio cop has not been charged with a crime after his two-year-old son somehow got a hold of his department-issued gun and fatally shot himself in the head Thursday morning.
Cleveland police have identified the cop as Jose “Tony” Pedro, a 54-year-old cop on the force since 1993, but have not stated how the shooting occurred.
They are calling it an “accidental shooting” instead of an act of negligence by having left the gun within reach of the toddler.

Former Ohio Police Officer Ray Tensing is now a free man after shooting and killing Sam DuBose, a unarmed black man in July 2015.
At least for now.
Tensing, 26, was an officer at The University of Cincinnati when he was charged with murder and voluntary manslaughter based on evidence from his body camera.

Turns out, it is not clear if the man caught on video shoving an anti-Trump protester from behind is even a Trump supporter.
What is known is that the man suffers from Asperger Syndrome and the attack was not political in nature.
The protester who ended up getting shoved from behind is asking that the charges be dropped against him.
