Marianne Williamson's Love America Tour

Our old friend and comrade in arms, Marianne Williamson, is starting a tour of the U.S. in which she'll be-- among other things-- introducing some of the Blue America candidates to her followers. She's just setting the dates now. In fact this morning she started working with Kaniela Ing to set up an event in Honolulu. So far though, these are the set dates:

Ryan Was On TV Yesterday With His Litany Of Lies-- And It Was A Total Disaster

Bruce Poliquin represents the "other" Maine congressional district, almost the whole state minus Portland, Augusta and the southwest coastal strip. He's got Lewiston-Auburn, Bangor and everything up to the Canadian borders on the west, north and east. Politically, it's a swing district. Obama beat McCain by 10 points and beat Romney by 9 points, Last year, though, although Maine went for Hillary, ME-02 went for Trump 51.4% to 41.1%.

We Are The Ones We’ve Been Waiting For

-by Bruce MulkeyIn 2003, after President George W. Bush and his henchmen led us into an ill-advised, immoral, and illegal war in Iraq, I wrote a piece about how we can each make a difference even in dark and challenging times. Merely substitute “Donald Trump” for “George Bush” and “ISIS” for “Osama bin Laden,” and my essay is highly relevant today.Around three decades ago I traveled from Tennessee to Washington, D.C.

Alex Law: "There Is Nothing Wrong In Any Of Our Districts That Can't Be Fixed With What's Right In Our Districts"

The video just above is one of the best congressional campaign clips I've seen from anyone anywhere. Please watch it. June 7 is going to be another SuperTuesday, a congressional one. California, Iowa and New Jersey have red hot primaries pitting grassroots progressives like Lou Vince, Pat Murphy and Alex Law against establishment hacks like, respectively, Brian Caforio, Monica Vernon and Donald Norcross. South Dakota, New Mexico and Montana have primaries the same day but without the fiery contests. And Law's isn't the only congressional contest that needs to be watched in New Jersey.

Why Primaries Are Just As Important As General Elections-- Sometimes More So

The SisterGiant/Blue America Progressive Candidates Forum video above features interviews by Marianne Williamson with Alan Grayson (D-FL), DuWayne Gregory (D-NY) and Alex Law (D-NJ). DuWayne is already the official Democratic Party candidate running for the Long Island seat held by Republican neocon Peter King. Grayson and Law, however, are in important primaries against conservative Democrats. Both of them are on Bernie's team and both of them challenging establishment bosses' picks for the offices they seek.

Is The Corrupt DC Democratic Establishment Trying To Take Over Your State's Democracy? It Is In Ohio

At tonight's SisterGiant/BlueAmerica progressive candidates forum (6pm, PT; 9pm back East), Marianne is interviewing congressional candidates Mike Noland from Illinois and Mike Manypenny from West Virginia. Last night she spoke with Rep. Ted Lieu (CA), Carol Shea-Porter (NH) and Rubin Kihuen (NV). That link just above allows you to watch the brand new interviews and the archived ones as well.

We CAN Wind up With A Better Congress This Year-- And We Need To

If yesterday's results are indicative of what it expect in November, it looks like Americans will be, once again, asked to choose between 2 really awful nominees... another less-of-two-evils election that is sure to turn off millions of Americans and hold down voter turnout. Who the hell-- other than what Trumpf calls his beloved "poorly educated"-- voters wants to be culpable for the kind of endemic corruption that would be at the heart of either a Trumpf or a Clinton Administration? Is he so much more than she is? Sure. She's the lesser of two evils, evil, but the lesser evil.
