LaPorsha and one of her other daughters said that a white man in a red truck was the shooter. This immediately sparked media accusations that the shooting was a white-on-black hate crime. However, it was determined that two black men were likely responsible for the crime.

The bigger the Congressional Black Caucus gets, the more it betrays its constituents. Last Wednesday, three out of every four members of the Black Caucus in the U.S. House voted to make assaults on police officers a federal hate crime.

After local law enforcement and the FBI began investigating, Dauntarius Williams confessed to defacing his own car with racist slurs, but, in order to avoid prosecution, he claimed it was a “Halloween prank that got out of hand”. It worked. [...]

A federal grand jury charged a South Texas man with a hate crime Thursday for allegedly setting fire to a mosque in January, adding to charges tied to his reported attempt to blow up a car.
The grand jury indicted Marq Vincent Perez, 25, for a Jan. 28 burglary and arson at the Victoria Islamic Center, federal prosecutors said Thursday.

In violation of a longstanding legal mandate, scores of federal law enforcement agencies are failing to submit statistics to the FBI’s national hate crimes database, ProPublica has learned.

FAIRFAX, Va – Social engineering has brought us the current political and social climate that we see today.  It has legitimized and validated people who harbored cultural biases. Nabra had three strikes against her, she was black, Muslim, and a female, all three components put her at increased risk of social ostracization and potential violence.

Activists and the mother of a Muslim American teenager who was murdered in Virginia on Sunday rejected the police’s conclusion that the crime was not motivated by hate.
Nabra Hassanen was assaulted before dawn on Sunday in Sterling, Virginia, about 50 km west of Washington DC, after attending overnight prayers at the All Dulles Area Muslim Society mosque for the holy month of Ramadan.
