GOP racism

In 2012, Asian-Americans were huge Obama supporters. In the end the very diverse group only gave 31% of it's vote to Romney. It didn't matter in states like California, New York, Illinois and Texas, with their massive Asian-American population. California, New York, and Illinois were going big for Obama anyway and Texas was in the pocket for Romney no matter how many Laotians and Vietnamese voted for Obama.

Trump says he's not a racist; he says he's the least racist man in the entire universe. He did tell a crowd at one of his hate rallies in Indiana though, that he believes all Americans of Kenyan descent should be deported back to Kenya, including President Obama. He said, for example, that "Africans are lazy fools, only good at eating, lovemaking and thuggery...

Friday, WYSL hate talk radio host/wing-nut Assemblyman Bill Nojay, a loud and early Trumpanzee backer, was due in court on fraud charges after embezzling money from a trust fund he had handled as an attorney. Instead, he decided to shoot himself a few feet from his family's burial plot at Riverside Cemetery.

There are plenty of reasons-- both real and concotted out of the thin air between the ears of your typical GOP hate monger-- to be repulsed at the idea of voting for Hillary Clinton.

The Republican Party-- especially although not exclusively the Trumpanzee Republican Party-- combines a hatred and bigtry wing with a greed and selfishness wing. And the chat between Dan Rather and Rachel Maddow in the video above focused on David Bossie from the former and Robert Mercer from the latter, both equally dangerous to the country and equally contemptible. The kind of people who support Trump and the same kinds of haters and sociopaths that supported the breakup of the U.S. leading up to the Civil War.

Hillary, her campaign and her surrogates, backed by the media and by prominent African Americans played the race card against Mr. Trumpanzee last week. It was an effective attack. Hillary's speech was one of the best I've ever heard her give.

Remember when Maine's senior senator, Susan Collins, said she wouldn't vote for Señor Trumpanzee? It may see like months ago but it was just a couple weeks. At the time, I noted that she had endorsed, raised money for and campaigned with Maine's erratic far right governor, Paul LePage... twice. The clip from Rachel Maddow's Friday show opening (above) gives the background of the latest LePage outrage, starting with his crackpot and threatening call to state Rep.

The Wall Street Journal headline indicated more bad news for Campaign Trumpanzee: Trump Running Mate Mike Pence Tries to Get Republicans on Board. It's midway through August and the parties should be united and reaching out to independents.

The Woody Guthrie song above, "Old Man Trump" was written in the early 1950s when Woody Guthrie was renting an apartment from Trump's notoriously racist father Fred in the Beach Haven neighborhood of Brooklyn, not far from where I grew up and where my first girlfriend, Doreen, lived. It paints an accurate picture of the bigoted milieu Little Donald-- who has started unambiguously that "my legacy has its roots in my father’s legacy"-- grew up in.

For well over a decade, we've be warning that Paul Ryan is Washington's most dangerous phony and we've watched with horror as a credulous and naive Beltway media has puffed him up based almost exclusively by judging his book by it's cover. No fangs? He must be cuddly.
