Jay w/Hoax Busters: Darwinian Materialism as Metaphysical Presupposition

I called into the Hoax Buster’s Call to discuss the crucial subject of how presuppositions and paradigms function as templates to interpret “facts.”  There are no “brute facts” that come un-interpreted, outside of some contextual framework or worldview.  In this discussion we investigate how the human mind categorizes the “data” or experience and how our governing assumptions about life and the world determine what the “facts” are, which constitute evidence and/or which are rejected and reinterpreted based on our beliefs (even when we presu

JaysAnalysis: Stefan Molyneux & the Cult of “Reason” Dismantled (Half)

After numerous requests to deconstruct Stefan Molyneux and his popular online philosophy talks, I have acquiesced. This talk will also apply to the whole cadre of Internet atheists, from the anarchists to the Dawkinites. In this first free two hours, I show how his very philosophy is what led to the “collapse of western civilization” he constantly touts.

Huge Discovery: Bacterium that “Eats” Plastic Waste

The world’s oceans are filled with plastic. More than 5 million pieces of it are floating around, being eaten by fish and passed up the food chain. Every year, more than 100,000 marine animals and seabirds are killed by plastic waste.

Of the 342 million tons of plastic produced each year, a tiny fraction of it – about 14% – is recyclable.

FDA Will Likely Release GM Mosquitoes North of Key West

Genetically modified mosquitoes designed to limit the spread of the Zika virus will likely soon be unleashed in the southern United States, as the federal government said today decided to permit a field test in the Florida Keys.
The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) said it had made a preliminary determination that the GM mosquitoes are unlikely to harm humans, animals, or the environment.

Two Videos On How Certain Democrats Reacted To The Legitimate Aspirations Of The LGBT Community

In 1995 Bernie was a Member of the House... and so was Duke Cunningham. In fact, one of the reasons we started DWT was to help focus attention of Cunningham and a gaggle of other corrupt California Republicans, none of whom are still in office... Richard Pombo, Jerry Lewis, Buck McKeon, Gary Miller, John Doolittle, Dan Lungren, Jim Rogan, David Dreier, Elton Gallegly, Wally Herger-- all gone, all flushed down the toilet. Anyway, in the video above ole Duke is being harshly called out on the carpet by Bernie for disparaging gay men and women in the military.

Mass Media: Often Pandering to Bias and Ignorance

The Texas board of education didn’t find anything wrong with a world geography textbook that said slaves from Africa were workers, but that immigrants from northern Europe were indentured servants.
This is the same school board that five years ago demanded that textbooks emphasize that slavery was only a side issue to the cause of the civil war, and that Republican achievements be emphasized in political science and civics textbooks.

Human-Made Evolution

Evolution is nature’s way of preserving itself, but nature is losing out for the first time ever as it becomes curiously unnatural, artificially induced to adapt to human existence. It is human-made evolution, through and through.
The Anthropocene is a term first coined (yr. 2000) by atmospheric chemist Paul Crutzen (Nobel Prize 1991). It is currently under review as an official new geologic epoch; nevertheless, it has become a standard reference point in everyday science.
