An important study was reported on January 7th in the scientific journal Annals of Internal Medicine, published by the American College of Physicians. It’s titled “Health Care Administrative Costs in the United States and Canada, 2017”.
Our old friend, Valley Girl, sent me this video with a note. All I can say is that I agree with her assessment and I'm more than happy to share it with you. Valley Girl wrote that she "found this, saw that it was 26 minutes long, and inwardly groaned because I am flat out worn out. I wasn't sure I had the attention span for it. But I started watching, and the time flew past. I just couldn't stop watching it. There were no surprises here in what Bernie said.

There was some excellent news out of Florida, where the primaries are next Tuesday. The progressive in the race, Tallahassee mayor Andrew Gillum, is surging into first place. A new poll shows him with 33% while his two closest rivals, conservatives Gwen Graham and Philip Levine are each down to 22% and the other progressive in the race, Jeff Greene, is languishing at 10%.
Unless you can make a clear case for outright villainy-- a really clear case-- Democratic primary voters do not like Democratic primary opponents attacking each other. They hate it. Republican primary voters love to see their primary candidates attacking each other, but Democrats want the attacks saved for general elections, not primaries.
