Fear Reinforcement- Lavrov “unintended incidences’ Russian Naval Exercises & Circular Narratives

Booga Booga, be afraid- Lavrov has uttered two words which are being quoted out of context to induce fear....“unintended incidences” Why would the media choose those two words to regurgitate in headline after headline?I suspect it's because those two out of context words fit in very nicely with the propaganda that has been making the rounds for nearly two weeks now. I am of course referring to the claims of massive Russian build up, boots on the ground and "Dirty War forces to Syria" Hand in glove, I would say.

BTW: Look what the National Post is passing off as credible news!
Are the Russian troops reportedly being sent to Syria from the same brigade that helped annex Crimea?

“Some of the Russian troops reportedly being sent to Syria are from the same brigade that helped annex Crimea, according to a lengthy investigation conducted by Ruslan Leviev, a specialist in social-media intelligence.

Ruslan Leviev is the only source cited repeatedly for these claims- By now should we not have been able to garner multiple & varied sources to definitively verify if this claim is even close to being true?  Shouldn't we have? I would think so. Yet, that is not the case. The entire narrative of a Russian expansion and build up, of troops on the ground fighting etc comes from one source and one source only! Ruslan Leviev.

The Kremlin has declined to comment, but, if true, “the deployment of an elite unit from Crimea, which inaugurated Russia’s standoff with the West, is an intriguing choice,” writes The Daily Beast’s Michael Weiss.”

PennySeptember 10, 2015 at 6:24 AMWell the Daily Beast has a new version of this story: Is the so called alternative media going to run with this too?Putin Sends His Dirty War Forces to Syriahttp://www.thedailybeast.com/articles/2015/09/10/putin-sends-his-dirty-…
"An investigation by Ruslan Leviev, a specialist in social-media intelligence, the soldiers are from the 810th Marine Brigade...

Ruslan Leviev the same "activist/blogger/social media intelligence specialist"  touted by msm and alternatives such as ZeroHedge & Moon of Alabama as authoritative.  Ruslan Leviev providing information that no one else is able to gather or verify? No one else can verify this information.  Now that is amazing!!

Just thinking aloud, how extraordinary a circumstance it is that Ruslan, and Ruslan alone, is so privileged  to able to gather, verify and garner wide spread global media attention for his 'intelligence' Back to the topic of this post

"Russia called on Friday for Washington to restart direct military-to-military cooperation to avert "unintended incidents"

Link

“He (Lavrov)  told a news conference Russia was conducting military exercises in the Mediterranean Sea, that it had been for some time, and that they were in line with international law”

“Russia was also conducting naval exercises in the eastern Mediterranean, he said, describing the drills as long-planned and staged in accordance with international law”

What Russia was conducting naval exercises!!! Why didn’t uber activist Ruslan Leviev mention that? Is this the  massive build up that Leviev has been claiming? And the neocon zionist disinfo crowd has been promoting relentlessly?

Lavrov blamed Washington for cutting off direct military-to-military communications between Russia and NATO over the Ukraine crisis, saying such contacts were "important for the avoidance of undesired, unintended incidents"."We are always in favor of military people talking to each other in a professional way. They understand each other very well" Lavrov said. "If, as (U.S. Secretary of State) John Kerry has said many times, the United States wants those channels frozen, then be our guest."

From the press conference

Moscow is set to continue supporting Syria in its fight against Islamic State and provide Damascus with military supplies, Russia’s foreign minister said, stressing that the drills of the Russian Navy near Syrian shores fully comply with international law. “We support the fight of the Syrian government against so-called Islamic State, which neither represents Islam, nor happens to be a state,” Sergey Lavrov said Friday.Russia will not hesitate to continue maintaining Syria’s defensive capacity to counter the terrorist threat, Lavrov said.“I can tell you once again, that our servicemen and military experts remain there [in Syria] for the maintenance of Russian [military] hardware and assisting the Syrian army in using this hardware, there’s training under way,” Lavrov said, stressing that military hardware supplies will continue.

In fighting terrorism, Moscow has always supported “teamwork based on international legislation,” the foreign minister said.Lavrov also reiterated that the anti-ISIS coalition should start cooperating with the Syrian government and army on the ground.“The most effective and powerful ground force to fight Islamic State is the Syrian army,” Lavrov said, adding that coordination is necessary to avoid “unintended incidents.” Moscow has been calling on to the US-led anti-ISIS coalition to team up with the Syrian army from the very beginning of airstrikes against Islamic State one year ago.“Better late than never,” Lavrov said.“If battling terrorism is a priority, than all opportunistic considerations, like a regime change in Syria, should be put aside” he added.

“We always back up professional dialogue of the militaries, they understand each other well,” Lavrov said. “It’s important to preclude undesired and non-deliberate incidents,” Lavrov said.

As for the naval drills conducted in the Mediterranean, Lavrov said he had no exact information about the schedule of the drills, but confirmed that they take place on a regular basis.

He also insisted that any training of the Russian Navy in international waters is conducted in full compliance with international law.

Russian authorities have warned that national naval training is taking place east of Cyprus and will last till September 17.

To clarify: When I speak of propagandistic perception management and agenda pushing I am referencing to an extraordinary change in Russian support. I am referencing claims of  increased or mass Russian boots on the ground.  I am talking about Ruslan Leviev and his lone intel. Not of business as usual type Russian involvement, which must certainly increase and decrease depending on circumstances. Circumstances in Syria, over these years would have undoubtedly seen an increase in Russian involvement but not as hyped up by Ruslan Leviev Russia has been involved with Syria, for as long as I can recall and that involvement has never been denied.  But, save for one person and one person only there has been no other verification of this greatly expanded Russian involvement from any other source. I find that extremely suspicious and problematic. Keeping in mind the timing- Sept 11. The upcoming Putin address to the UN. The offer made by Assad to share power with an honest opposition and another election. The US/NATO Israeli push to increase the war against Syria, including the placement of their 'boots on the ground' All this can be justified because of this claimed  yet unsubstantiated expansion by Russia. It's all to dam convenient for pushing ahead with the desired war agenda and therefore has to be viewed cautiously and skeptically. If I'm mistaken, so be it. But I'm searching and searching far and wide for credible information supporting the Ruslan Leviev theory and it isn't forthcomingHow I interpret Lavrov's language:Lavrov is reiterating that Russian miltary is, as it has always been, present in and around Syria. He is reminding certain parties of that presence. He is open for cooperation to fight "ISIS" but forget about overthrowing Assad. It's a tread carefully message.Would love to read the thoughts of others!
