Iran responds to Pompeo’s demands

A response to Pompeo’s ridiculous demands of Iran in order to avoid US sanctions has been issued by the Iranian Foreign Minister, Javad Zarif. The statement covers not only Trump’s erratic behaviour and his serial withdrawal to multilateral agreements, as well as the threats to other multinational organizations, but it also delves into the history of US-Iran relations going back a few decades, just in case Mke Pompeo happened to be suffering a bit of amnesia on the matter, or hasn’t bothered to read up on the subject.

Russia calls for relaxation of UNSC nuclear sanctions on DPRK

As a major part of normalizing the situation on the Korean peninsula relative to the isolation of the North Korean regime, Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman, Maria Zakharova, is advocating for the relaxation of nuclear related sanctions which were implemented more than a decade ago by the United Nations Security Council.
Such action could help move the peace and denuclearization process along by allowing international economic transactions to occur.

UNSC resolution on Israeli violence vetoed by US

A resolution was submitted for a vote to the United Nations Security Council by Kuwait condemning the use of violence by Israeli forces on Palestinian civilians, but was vetoed by the US, who considered it to be ‘one sided’. Since the ‘Great March of Return’ began, hundreds of Palestinians have been killed and thousands injured by Israeli forces. So far, there have been no Israeli casualties.
