Rachel: "Calling Montenegro and Montenegrins a threat is not part of American foreign policy. It's not part of conservative American foreign policy, liberal foreign policy, the Moon-Is-Made-Of-Green-Cheese American foreign policy. The president is not reading that in his briefing books no matter who is writing them. He's not hearing that from anybody in the American Congress. His advisors are not whispering in his ear about the aggressive Montenegrins and the threat of World War III.

The first I ever heard of Russian oligarch and Putin crony Dmitry Rybolovlev-- the "king of fertilizer"-- was on Rachel Maddow's show. She talked about him quite a bit last year, as you can watch her doing above in a clip from March 2017. She kept going back to him not just because he's a billionaire who bought a Greek Island, a French soccer team and the most expensive apartment in Manhattan, but because in 2008 he bought a rather dilapidated Palm Beach mansion from shady businessman and already notorious money launderer Donald J. Trump.

What's crazier-- Trump's furious twitter stream howling at the moon about his legal jeopardy (above)-- much of which was certainly written by his current lawyer-- or the very timely Trump Code of Dishonor (below).

by NoahHow ironic that a quote that so describes Putin's Puppet comes from a Russian; fitting really. Trump is a man who lies to himself because he is weak in every way. Lying to himself and to others is a way he gets comfortable with his endless shortcomings. Those who believe his lies do so to deal with some of their own.

I had to change planes in Philly on my way back to L.A. from Berniepalooza Sunday. A psychology of organizations professor from Trump's alma mater sat next to me. I asked her for an analysis of how he governs based on how he ran his business. She talked about malignant narcissism and summed up by explaining that for Trump everything is about Trump. Sounds about right.
