I Know It Sounds Insane, But Brian Kemp Actually Wants To Kill Georgians-- And He's Getting Away With It

Georgia was one of the early, hard-hit states in the pandemic. But unlike other early states, Georgia is led by a right-wing ideologue, Brian Kemp, who learned nothing at all about public health and seems to care no a whit about the residents of his state. While the coronavirus is under control in New York, New Jersey, Massachusetts, Connecticut and the other early states, Georgia's pandemic is bigger than ever.Wednesday, Georgia reported the 4th biggest one-day new cases in the country, right below Texas, Florida and California-- and worse off than Arizona!

November's Outlook For Democrats Running For Congress Is Excellent

Last year, it was reasonable to look at the Senate election table for 2020 and predict that the Democrats would have a hard time flipping that chamber. It looked like they were most likely to lose one-- Jones in Alabama-- and possibly gain three-- Colorado (Gardner), Arizona (McSally) and Maine (Collins). Just going by what they've said publicly-- certainly Susan Collins (ME), Lamar Alexander (TN), Ben Sasse (NE), Rob Portman (OH) and Lisa (AK)-- we know they knew full well what Trump is.

Moscow Mitch Completes A Cover-Up That Doesn't Really Cover Up Much At All

Though the House impeachment managers proved beyond any reasonable doubt that Trump was guilty on both counts he was charged, the Senate voted 52-48 to cover up those crimes, let alone the others he wasn't even charged with. Mitt Romney was the only Republican with the guts to vote his conscience and for the best interests of the country.

David Perdue-- The Cowardice Of His Convictions

Last July, Teresa Tomlinson, the progressive candidate among the Democrats seeking the nomination to run against Georgia incumbent Trumpist David Perdue, write a guest post for us about political courage, Crippling Political Fear. It was more about Democrats than Republicans. “It’s fear,” she wrote, “that cripples the Democratic Party. Fear of our policies, fear of who we are, and fear of the Republicans. Yes, fear is what has politically cost us in the last many election cycles.
