The news coming from the US about the riots “based” on the killing of George Floyd, a black man, at the hands of a white police officer in Minneapolis, Minnesota, continues to be disturbing, to say the least.
First of all, a politically incorrect statement. The people who are rioting over the death of George Floyd, who are destroying businesses and homes and property of people who had nothing to do with this unfortunate man’s death, should be punished according to the law just as you or I would be if we were to do these things. There should be simply no tolerance for such actions. Yet in these cities the posture of law enforcement is to stand down and let these people rampage and destroy things, as though they have some special privilege to do so.
Dr Steven Turley posted an amazingly thorough summary of the effects felt in the Democrat Party by President Trump’s acquittal from the impeachment charges and the surprising temper tantrum by a hapless and enraged Nancy Pelosi, who (after preparation) tore up the pages of the President’s State of the Union address the night before his acquittal. These events are both the culmination of the Democrat Party’s latest attempt at doing something to derail or even remove the President, and they outline the extent of Democrat hysteria and insanity.
