The UK Again Lashes Out At Iran, Corporate Media Continues To Peddle Propaganda

The UK Government took steps to further sanction the Islamic Republic of Iran, gaining instant praise from Washington, in what is primarily going to be a symbolic move with little real world impacts. What appears to be a tantrum from the British government, over the successes of Iran, coincidentally comes just prior to their “planned” Read More...

Iran’s SCO membership is a big deal

Like in a Wagnerian music drama, there is an associated melodic theme that accompanies the situations behind the two big regional developments last week — the announcement of the AUKUS, security alliance of three “maritime democracies” on September 15 and Iran’s accession to the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation as full member on September 17.  Both developments broke the glass ceiling. Here’s what to expect from next week’s BRICS summit

Next week’s BRICS meeting is set to discuss options for creating new customs cooperation initiatives which could pave the way for integration between the BRICS, the Eurasian Economic Union and the overarching goals of One Belt–One Road.
Russia which is a core member of both organisations currently operates a customs union within the single market of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU), a bloc which includes Armenia, Belarus, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan and Russia. Indonesia has recently been in talks to either join the EAEU or develop a customs deal with the bloc.

Chinese Foreign Ministry stands behind Pakistan, criticises Trump and SLAMS India

Chinese Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Hua Chunying has held a press conference where she discussed recent events while taking questions from journalists. The overall weight of her remarks speak to the fact that China is getting increasingly fed up with India’s failure to engage in dialogue with China over the Doklam/Donglang border dispute as well as other areas of the China-India frontier whose demarcations are not universally recognised.

China sends STRONG message to US and India

China is becoming increasingly emboldened in its expressions of anger towards any country which violates its sovereignty.

This came shortly after the US sold high-grade weapons to Chinese Taipei, also known as Taiwan, whose regime China considers an illegal entity operating on Chinese soil.
