But J.D.'s campaign isn't just about a referendum on King. He's far more concerned about offering voters a positive platform they can relate to.

Trumpists are on the march. The latest in a series of amazing polls for Bernie was released by ABC News and the Washington Post early this morning. Like every other poll, it shows Bernie soaring and Biden crashing. "Bernie Sanders has soared and Joe Biden’s crashed in national preference for the Democratic nomination for president, while the Iowa caucuses and New Hampshire primary helped to clear some running room for a candidate who’s not yet been on the ballot: Mike Bloomberg.

The crackpot illegitimate "president" was in Iowa the other day. At his rally there he said "I’m not going to lose in this state. I don’t think I’m going to lose in any other state." Yep, he's lost his mind. The newest numbers from the Morning Consult Trump tracker show his net approval in Iowa has decreased by 18 points since he moved his fat ass into the White House.

It surprised me to see Trump's coalition in the Midwest falling apart. In the most recent Morning Consult state-by-state Trump tracker, it doesn't look like rural America will be coming to his rescue in 2020. His net approval in state after state he won in 2016 in underwater:
