BoJo ran out of rope when all his gambits intended to bounce parliament into accepting his Brexit deal got nowhere (as was widely predicted). The EU accepted his deal, but he wanted it rushed through parliament to meet his 31st October deadline, and parliament failed to oblige.
BoJo, never one to shun bombast, had promised to “die in a ditch” if Brexit did not take place by Halloween.
Few took BoJo’s deadline seriously, except for the hardline Brexit loons who hang on his every word.

Bercow ruled that granting such a request would amount to debating the same matter twice, even though he allowed former Theresa May to do the exact same thing when she was put her agreement to a vote in the House multiple times.

In a Telegraph Op-Ed Nigel Farage says Boris, the country is crying out for leadership – but with my party’s help, we can resolve Brexit.

He is all about being the romantic saboteur.  He is destructive, hates the business of a steady vocation, and the idea of being desk bound.  Little details trouble him; an indignant bigger picture is enthralling.  Bomb throwers tend to be of such ilk, taking shots at the establishment, courting potential voters over a pint, and railing against non-representative elements in politics.  But Nigel Farage and his recently arrived Brexit Party can unimpeachably claim to be vote getters.
