New information has emerged in the Louisiana officer involved shooting that killed Dejuan Guillory, 27,  from Mamou.  The details came from an interview with the attorney representing DeQuince Brown, who witnessed the shooting and was arrested afterwards for attempted murder of the police officer who was involved. The attorney, Joe Long, spoke to his client over the weekend and revealed details that Brown divulged about the shooting in an interview with Pin Point News.

And by the looks of it, it won’t be long before Roy Oliver is criminally charged.

Standing by its vow to remain supportive of police in a time of nationwide scrutiny against police abuse, the United States Department of Justice will not pursue charges against the Louisiana cops who shot and killed Alton Sterling last summer – setting the stage for nationwide protests again.

At first, Texas cops claimed they shot and killed 15-year-old Jordan Edwards because he was in a car driving in an “aggressive manner”  towards an officer.
But Balch Springs Police Chief Jonathan Haber has since said the car was driving away from officers before the cop fired, killing the teen who was riding passenger in a car driven by his brother.

And it will likely be proven false here once the Balch Springs Police Department release body and dash cam videos from the incident that took place around 11 p.m. in a suburb outside Dallas.

The surveillance video showing Punta Gorda police officer Lee Coel shooting and killing a retired librarian during a “shoot/don’t shoot” citizen’s academy training exercise last year was obtained by a local television news station, showing the cop dressed in a hoodie and playing the role of a thug before pulling the trigger.
