A man has been arrested by armed police outside the gates of Parliament at Westminster on suspicion of carrying a knife.
According to the Metropolitan Police:
“At 11.10am on Friday a man was detained near to the Palace of Westminster. The man – aged in his 30s – was arrested on suspicion of possession of a knife. There are no reports of any injuries.”

Straight off the bat, this appears to be strategic ‘window dressing’ by Twitter. With fluctuating shares and an ever increasing trend of disgruntled users switching to alternative platforms such as Gab to avoid ‘shadow bans’ and preserve free speech, Twitter now adopts this perception management of ‘standing up to government and state intelligence’ to reassure users.

A 39-year-old man from Uzbekistan detained by Swedish authorities on Friday, whom drove a hijacked delivery truck into crowds on Stockholm’s busiest shopping street that killed four and injured many, was ‘previously known to the security services’.

Ten days after the Westminster attack that left four people dead and dozens injured, tensions continue to rise in London particularly Trafalgar Square which acted as a flashpoint where scuffles broke out between Far Right groups the English Defence League, Britain First, and counter demonstration groups such as Unite Against Fascism.

British Home Secretary Amber Rudd said today on The Andrew Marr Show that technology companies should no longer be able to provide encrypted messaging services that cannot be accessed in emergencies by the security services.

The British authorities have now identified the terrorist who carried out the attack on the British Parliament as British born Khalid Masood.
This comes shortly after ISIS has claimed Masood as one of its “soldiers”, and after reports carried by the BBC of a wave of arrests of various unidentified people presumably suspected of having some connection to Masood.
