by NoahStrange as it seems, there are actually people who think that Republicans are normally adjusted, mature human beings. But, once again, reality shakes the naive from such notions.Case in point: In Minnesota on Monday, 4 term state rep Duane Quam debated challenger Jamie Mahlberg, the candidate of Minnesota's Democratic Fram Labor Party (a Minnesota affiliate of the Democratic Party). During questioning about education funding, Republican Quam just couldn't stand the indignity of having to discuss anything with one o' them women folks, especially about education, something his party has so much disdain for. It was all more than his soulless women-hating self could bear. What to do? Well, if you are a Repug, the solution is obvious! You rather rudely seize the woman's microphone. Then, when it is obvious to all but you that you have been offensive, you just speak your rebuttal and toss the microphone down on the table in front of her, which is exactly what he did. Hey, at least he didn't start chanting the Republican "Lock Her Up" mantra... yet.Quam later apologized and blamed "nerves" for the microphone grab. I'll assume that the fact that he apologized will end any opportunities for him to advance his career in the Republican Party. Certainly, he won't be getting any job offers from the Trump White House.
