Women's March

If this doesn’t make your head spin, perhaps you are either dead, or sufficiently “woke.” The Humboldt County Annual Women’s March, set for January 19th of this year got canceled because it was “too white.”
Yes. Too white. This is a county in Northern California, 270 miles north of San Francisco. According to the Wikipedia entry, on this locale, the 2016 census gave this demographic result.

Organizers planning a local Women's March in January pulled the plug on the event, because participants would have been 'overwhelmingly white', and they feared being perceived as non-inclusive. More than 80% of Humboldt County is white.

In direct response to ongoing military aggression and mind boggling increases in military funding that pass with bipartisan support in the United States, as well as the absence of the issue of war in the popular Women’s Marches held in 2017 and 2018, anti-war activists are calling for a Women’s March on the Pentagon, akin to the 1967 anti-war event in Washington D.C. and subsequent march on the Pentagon. The march is slated to take place on October 20th and 21st 2018, the 51st anniversary of the anti-war march that drew upwards of 50,000 people.
